Review: This kit is great and provides exactly as advertised. - Everything arrived as stated and in perfect working order. No missing or broken parts. Reasonable quality on all parts for the price. Some unexpected fine adjustments during assembly necessary, for example the rear wheel bearings needed gentle tapping with hammer to push the bearing inside its case in the rean axle (both sides), otherwise the brake disk would not align with the caliper and the drive chain gear/motor gear would not align. Other than that it was a perfect ready to assemble kit. Also we lubricated the gears, wheels etc which allows now for smooth coasting and quieter drive. Absolute hit with the kids in terms of fun! Suggestion for improvements … dust/sand protector for drive chain maybe also a rubber boot for the tie rod ball joints. Also be more realistic on the distance capable. We can drive realistically 15 miles…no where near 40.

Upon arrival, it was it a 6 sided wood crate. The seat had a crack and the brake disk was slightly bent. I fixed the brake disk with a set of pliers and the brakes work perfectly. Zyliathor customer service is amazing!! I let them know about the seat and they’re sending a replacement with free shipping! Between the build quality and the experience with customer support, I would give this a 10 star if possible! Literally the only thing that is lacking is the instructions are terrible, but if you’re even moderately mechanically inclined, it’s pretty easy to figure out assembly. I picked this up for my son’s 5th birthday and speed setting 1 seems perfectly safe! He’ll be able to grow into it over time, and when he’s bored with it, it’s super easy to modify by adding a larger battery, more powerful motor and faster sprocket. There’s a few that have clocked 62mph with $650 in desertcart mods!!
