First time I made this, I salted the water and cooked it about 8 or 9 mins - I was disappointed. Too salty and too mushy. Second time, I didn't add any salt and only let pasta boil for about a min or two before reducing to a simmer for 5 or 6 minutes more (7 in total). It was amazing in my recipe, which was adding the pasta to pre-made pasta sauce and a couple of table spoons of heavy cream powder. That's it. So good! I don't know how it will hold up in a pasta salad or if it's baked - but the way I made it was really good. Also, the portion size was enough for me, as I am trying to have my lighest meal for dinner. The price point is a little high when compared to regular pasta, but to eat what feels like a real pasta dish that doesn't spike my BS for $4.50 per serving is worth it for me.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these held their shape after cooking, especially in a hearty pasta sauce. The texture feels much closer to regular pasta than I expected from a low-carb option.

This pasta is amazing! I have tried a lot of low carb pasta and this has the best ingredients and macros!! The texture is really satisfying lol it’s firm but soft at the same time?? There is a slight bean flavor and doesn’t taste like traditional pasta but I love making Alfredo so I can’t tell with the sauce!! I highly recommended. It’s pricey but worth it for me.

I love all the different Kaizen low carb pasta. I purchased the fusilli and Radiatore and they are delicious. I am puzzled as to why I am apparently forbidden from writing a review on the Radiatore shape, which is why I am adding it here since they are both as wonderful.
