I feel like the second day had a little more color and had it washed out completely but by day two it was completely gone. I've applied the product three times now and have used a quarter of the bottle, so if you have just a few patches of white hair, then one bottle will last you for approximately 12 to 15 applications. I used dark blonde, as I wanted my whites to blend in with my professionally done highlights that have grown out. This is a great product if you have just started going white and you're not sure if you want to make a permanent change.
