arrived before time. v. happy with it

If I try to read this on a real kindle device I’m told it’s an incompatible device! But it will open ok in the kindle app on my iPad. Also… I am used to highlighting a section and using the translate feature to read a passage in English. But for this book it assumes I’m translating from Chinese to English and displays a load of emojis. If I change Chinese to french it displays the same emojis. And it forgets I’ve changed to french…if I try again it’s back to Chinese. Strangely the other Maigret book in this series works ok but again not on my real kindle, although strangely the sample download does work.

Amazing Book to read

A good read with interesting and useful exercises. BUT NOT B2: look at the layout and compare with English / German readers at B2, the difference is obvious. French colleagues say it is a strong A2 or B1, so I was disappointed and they are not cheap ! Im Gegensatz dazu, Klett Verlag have some excellent books at B2, I have read 3 and they were all very good and challenging.

Adaptación del gran novelista Georges Simenon, este libro de 78 páginas de lectura nos sumerge en el género policíaco para el nivel B2 de francés, lengua extranjera. Siendo así, no es más que una adaptación para estudiantes pero está bien llevada y además, nos adentra en una lectura vibrante que dista mucho de cualquier lectura de un libro método. Al final del libro, hay preguntas sobre cada capítulo y dos fichas para contestar, la última sobre Paris, muy interesante.
