This facial serum, aimed at dry or mature skin, promises to be intensely moisturising. When applied at night, it works well - it feels oily when applied, but I found that overnight it sank completely into the skin and left my face less dry. Unfortunately, this takes a long time, so there's no way I could wear this during the day - it's far too shiny and oily. Another issue for me with this product is the price - I've used equally good serums for a fraction of the cost, and I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of the pipette application that this product uses. So I wouldn't especially recommend this product.

Now I do rate this very highly for what it IS, but it also comes quite heavily priced up, in my opinion. Now this company's mark up is not as extreme as the mark up on similar products sold retail by one of the most well known organic skin care companies, but still, the mark up did make me pause.Sometimes I think companies price high because they are aiming at a specific market who will only buy things IF they cost a lot, as they equate quality with high cost.Sorry for the rant..........What I like about this (everything but that mark-up) is that there is full disclosure on the website of all the ingredients . Unsurprisingly, as here, it is the companies with nothing unpleasant to hide who freely make the ingredient listing available. Beware those companies trumpeting their natural ingredients who do not list out on line the FULL ingredients. With Terre Verdi, what I expected to find as the contents, from their product listing and description, was indeed what I found on the bottle listing. Nothing else.You only need a very few drops, 2-4 to gently massage in to face and neck, and it absorbs well. Some reviewers mentioned that they added this to their moisturiser and found they were left too oily for daytime. I find that serums, like this, containing ONLY vegetable carrier oils and essential oils absorb far more quickly than anything else.And I am in the ideal demographic for this kind of product - mature skin.This leaves my skin soft, dewy, not at all oily - and smelling heavenly

Love that this product is organic with all natural ingredients. It comes in a biophotonic glass bottle with dropper top. A bio what?... biophotonic glass (violet glass) is glass that only allows violet, ultra violet and infra red rays to pass through it. These light waves apparently improve the quality of the product inside. The glass blocks out all other light which can be damaging and degrade the contents. The glass therefore lengthens the life and improves the quality of the product without the need for preservatives.I only used 3 drops for my whole face and neck during the day. At this amount it was easily absorbed and I wasn’t left looking oily or shiny. The scent at first is overpowering to the point you can taste the smell but it wears off to a pleasant subtle smell, reminiscent of a hippy shop.I have older skin and the product is certainly nourishing. I still apply my daily moisturiser and sunscreen over the top as they have benefits that this serum doesn’t have. It’s a great addition though and used before going to bed I apply a little more to keep my skin nourished all night long. I was sceptical at first, because it’s oily I didn’t think it’d absorb and would just rub off on everything my face touched but the skin definitely absorbs it.It’s a bit pricey at £38 but because a little goes a long way, this bottle will last months, unless I can convince my partner to use it as a massage oil then I could be running out sooner.Some of the ingredients can cause allergic reactions, as with most things now a days. So it’d be a good idea to do a patch test before slathering over your entire face. I had a reaction to neroli oil as a teenager, not a nice experience. This contains neroli but I tested first and I didn’t react.I have had no irritation from this product at all. A good, high quality product.
