How to assemble these the chairs and the bases holes don't match up?help!

I thought that I had the same problem initially, but then I realized that I had the seat or base positioned wrong. It’s just a matter of continuing rotating the seat or base until they line up. It might not look perfectly lines up at first, but once you insert bolts and all, it will work out.
