I noted the label on the Amazon page appears to be the diet label. The product actually contains a small amount of sugar, enhanced with sugar alcohols for enhanced sweetness. Overall it's somewhere in taste between diet and regular Mountain Dew. My guess is the artificial sugar is added to get more sweetness in the small amount of syrup delivered by the product. Pros: Cheap, lower sugar Mountain Dew that still tastes great. Much better than diet dew. Cons: Doesn't taste quite as sweet as OG Mountain Dew, but contains substantially less sugar.

Has less sugar than the original and a lot less calories. Not a bad thing imo. Tastes close enough that I enjoy it and it’s definitely healthier and cheaper than buying mnt dew from a store. No complaints honestly just wanted to let people know the taste is slightly off because it’s less sweet but soooo close to the Original

TL:DR : If you like Mountain Dew get it... I'm glad they came out with this flavor.. I was hesitant because of reviews... but it's solid.. coming from someone who does not leave a lot of reviews please excuse me I am being lazy and using Voice chat to make this review. I think it is pretty good it is very convenient for the price may seem a little steep but they advertise you get 24 12 oz servings from each bottle X 4 bottles. Keep in mind you're probably going to be using the 1L bottle 33oz each time you drink some.. The ability to make it at 2am in the comfort of your own abode is priceless.. People are being extra when they say it has a bad aftertaste... It definitely has that MD taste, there is a very slight aftertaste, they make it seem like it lingers it doesnt.. I now have all the soda flavors, from pepsi, dr pete, cola, starry, and now MD.. The MD might be among my favorite now... Mine arrived in good condition, some people gave bad reviews because of a damaged box/leaked bottle.. this is a shipping issue/problem, not Product issue.. If you have a Ninja Thirsti also it may be trial and error on how much to use for that. Maybe they will come out with some extra Mountain Dew flavors (Baja Blast, sweet lightning, or the Awe inspiring Sangria MD...) Wishful thinking lol..
