Very quiet if you don't use the flower fountain piece, some soft noise with the fountain piece. Either way, after a month its working wonderfully and my cat is definitely drinking more. I didn't think I'd keep the LED light on, but it's subtle and truly helps with tracking the water level. It does come with a small flat mat, to help prevent any spills, but that's not been an issue for us. It cleans easy, gets my cat drinking more often, and my cat is no longer trying to knock over her water dish. Can't recommend enough. Go ahead and buy the extra filters when purchasing.

The hype is true!! My cat 100% drinks more water from this I’m actually amazed because with the fill line you can see how much water you’re going through and I’m so proud of my little fur baby :) the fountain is gentle and she’s cautious of most things but doesn’t mind it at all. Sometimes she’s so invested her ear and whiskers are getting wet haha It stays clean, is easy to maintain, and I sleep with it in my room so the noise is no bother. I recommend to all my friends and families with cats!!

This Veken Stainless Steel Cat Water Fountain is easily one of the best pet products I’ve ever purchased! My kitten absolutely loved it from the moment I set it up. The design is beautiful, the stainless steel is sleek and hygienic, and the included silicone mat keeps everything tidy and in place—no splashes or mess on my floor. The flower attachment is such a clever feature—it creates multiple drinking areas, which my kitten adored. He could choose between the bubbling top, flowing streams, or the gentle pool below. I noticed right away that he was drinking more water and staying much better hydrated, which gave me great peace of mind as a pet owner. The fountain also runs quietly, and I really appreciated that it came with extra filters and sponges—a thoughtful touch that shows how much the company understands pet parents’ needs. Maintenance was simple and quick, and the stainless-steel build made it easy to clean and resistant to buildup. The only reason I returned it was because it isn’t cordless, and my mischievous kitten has a thing for chewing on wires. If Veken ever releases a wireless model—especially one with features like a motion sensor, low-water indicator, filter-change alert, or battery indicator—I’ll be first in line to buy it again. Overall, this is a top-tier fountain that combines style, functionality, and pet-friendly design beautifully. If your cat isn’t a wire chewer like mine, don’t hesitate—this one’s a winner!

This fountain is a workhorse and has never given me issues. If you want a cat fountain with no bells and whistles that just works, this is it. Pros: 1. I've had it a year and it still works like new 2. It's easy to clean, even the pump 3. Doesn't have that weird flower center section the plastic version has, which only ever gave me issues 4. It has the BEST filter/pump sponge setup of any fountain I've owned. Neither are difficult to install or clean. 5. My cats like it Not-quite-as-pros (I hesitate to call them cons since they're preference things): 1. If I want to refill it between washes and without turning it off/disassembling the whole thing, I have to crouch there with a water bottle and slowly and carefully pour it in so the new water doesn't overflow the basin, which isn't bad, but also isn't fun. 2. I'm a weirdo who gets tired of the sound of the fountain running, so even though I touted this as a great fountain with no bells and whistles, sometimes I wish for bells and whistles (mostly, motion detection). However, all the motion detection fountains I've bought since can be finicky in ways this one just isn't (refer to pros 2 and 4). I'm tired of talking now. Fountain good.
