Approved
Used in the clinical are for a great sound, especially considering the size, easy cleaning because of the smooth surfaces and a simple design. Because of its size, it’s also easy to store or move between areas. I haven’t tested wireless capabilities due to ICT policies in place. As for the value for money, I understand that Amazon pricing is all over the place, but for £65 and in the context of using it in the clinical area of the hospital - it’s worth it.

Panasonic vs Roberts
Bought to replace my Roberts. Although Roberts has a good reputation, mine didn’t last long and this radio seems much better and I hope it lasts longer

Does not keep accurate time
I wanted to make use of the alarm feature, but the unit does not keep accurate time. Had it about a month during which it has lost about 5 mins overnight on 3 occasions, so waking me up late (not due to power cuts). This morning it woke me up one hour early, so now I have returned it. Other aspects such as radio, sound quality and bluetooth all seemed pretty good, but the time issue made it not suitable for the purpose i bought it for.

Looks good but avoid.
It would be fine if I had the remote control for it as I can't connect to the internet without the remote to type in my long router password, whoever has it last was a wally , you should always make sure if your returning something that all parts are included, I guess I'll follow up Panasonic and try and get one there probably cost a fortune, tried everything with this set up it's own network as a guest as it wouldn't connect to Vodafone gigabox router, radio only works on2.4 Geven doing that I finally got it to connect when Vodafone split the bandwidth but then buffering like mad, consulted Google ai it told me to change router settings only made it worse done everything bar taking it apart, most frustrating piece of kit I ever bought luckily got full refund from Amazon because there was no remote incl and let me keep it , that was fine if you could get it working satisfactorily but no matter what I tried no good even got universal remote from Amazon even after about a 1000 clicks on channel up no good wouldn't connect to that either, a nice looking unit alright but don't be fooled it's what we used to call a pig in a poke in other words torture in a box, although it does look good on my windowsill, but it's just a fancy looking fm radio, we don't have dab here in the west of Ireland so that's not much use, FM is ok Midwest doesn't come though that great, I would say that price tag for the new radio is something like 140£ or I seen advertised for 169e here you'd be better buying fuel with that money as it's way overpriced sound is quite good though and it looks good that's about the height of it, saying all that now a week later it's kinda of grown on me I've figured out a satisfactory way of using this radio and that is if I want to listen to foreign stations and podcasts I use the internet as funnily enough they come without a hitch no audio dropout at all, it's seems to be the local Irish stations that it has a problem with their signal might just not be powerful enough to get a constant stream, so I listen to those on FM and for the poor Midwest reception I use FM mono which cleans it up a lot, so not as bad as I first said plus remotes4U are looking up a replacement remote for it so hopefully they get back to so I suppose for a basically free internet radio it's has not worked out that bad , but luckily i have enough hair as I lost about during the setup hours spent trying to get it right anyhow all that said it's not a bad little radio and i.must say looks quite smart in the window sill but if you want something hassle free I'd still avoid this but if you get it at knockdown price like I did it's worth a go if you think you can deal with the tech headaches, consult your AI it's a great help ok.

Good sound and price
Why did you choose this product over others?: Price was good and from a well known manufacturer. Wanted the internet radio.

Good sound but.....
This is a good looking piece of kit. It found the DAB channels quickly (much better than my previous hifi) and the sound was pretty good too. But connecting it to wifi was another matter. You have to scroll and press for each letter, which took ages, but you can't see what you've typed. I gave up after 3 attempts. Needs a 'push' function and it'd be very good.

Good purchase only if there was battery to keep clock alive. Every time power is switched off / on clock resets. Speaker output can be bit better

If You are expecting a product that lives up to the Panasonic/National/Technics name/Brand, lower Your expectations. This is a step above the usual Chinese internet radio that scrapes TUNE IN, but barely. It does not allow direct input of a stream URL, will ONLY search by location - even if you start to search by GENRE, You always end up in folders of regional groups. The UI is slow and poorly designed, often glitching out when trying to add presets, resulting in a blank screen. You are entirely tied to whatever list of stations this radio uses. You cannot search for a station in any way - You are restricted to a folder system of presets which You can navigate. I expected more for the price. Nah. Pass on this.
