What an amazing concept. I didn't know something like this existed until my husband got me one for my birthday several years ago. Every night I would have to get out of my bed to turn off the lamp I used for reading. It was just high enough that I couldn't reach it. Honestly, despite it's simplicity it's actually one of the best and most gifts I ever received. I've since purchased one for another room and now I'm back to purchase one for my 93 year old dad. I know my dad is going to get a kick out of this and absolutely love it! The remote is small and wireless, The plug in unit is small and not obtrusive at all. The product is super easy to use, just plug it into the wall, plug you lamp into the plug and you are ready to go. What a fabulous little gizmo at such an affordable price, I highly recommend it!!!

Just what we needed for a lamp in a corner where we had trouble reaching.The remote is pretty tiny so we leave it in one spot where always can find it.

Works great! I got 2 of them, and they do not interfere with each other (first thing I tested) I use one to turn off a light about 50 feet from the house and 1 to turn on a computer about 80 feet from the house inside my concrete block AstroHut. Tip: to remotely turn on a computer, look up how to change the BIOS to whichever one this is called in your computer: Power On After Power Loss / Restore on AC Power Loss / AC Power Recovery. That way, when power is turned on to the computer with this switch (computer plugged into this receiver), it will boot up. I have to hit the "off" button on this before turning it "on" though for computer start, even if it's already off. No problem. ONLY ISSUE with this: battery compartment falls off easily. I lost my battery in tall weeds weeding my garden. Had to order another. Tip: TAPE BATTERY COMPARTMENT SHUT AS SOON AS YOU GET THIS AND TEST IT.

Great product for my elderly mother to unplug and plug in her flat screen TV when it gets stuck and needs to be unplugged. Now she can do it without getting out of bed. No more me having to drive over there to unplug her TV for her.

Love this remote. You should use more remotes. I use remotes in my family room for my reading lamp by chair and torch lamp across room. I keep the remotes by my recliner in a wood desk-type lazy susan that also holds my iPhone, my TV remote, and window shade remote. In my bedroom I use this remote for the torch lamp by my bed. I store it in a wood, desk-type lazy susan where I keep my iPhone and remotes for my TV, fans, and motorized bed. I am perfectly capable of getting up to turn things on and off, but these little remotes are wonderful for putting things at my fingertips.
