These make excellent homemade probiotic drinks.
I have given this product 5 out of 5 stars as they make excellent homemade probiotic drinks. At first glance, these may seem quite expensive if used as a single sachet per serving. However, when used creatively to make a longer-lasting probiotic drink, they become much better value for money. I’ve been using these Digestive Probiotics and Prebiotics with Zinc, Vitamin B6, and B1 for some time now. Initially, I used them simply as sachets, but I soon discovered they work exceptionally well for making homemade probiotic drinks. Because the powder is very finely ground, it dissolves easily and is ideal for this purpose. As the formula contains Bifidobacterium, one sachet can be stirred well into to a bottle of pineapple juice and left for two to three days, allowing the bacteria to multiply. This effectively provides a week’s worth of probiotics from a single sachet, which significantly improves the overall value. I’ve been using them this way for a while and I’m very pleased with the results. They are easy to take, gentle on the stomach, and fit seamlessly into my daily routine. I’ve noticed a clear improvement in my digestion and feel noticeably more regular. The added Zinc and B vitamins are a welcome bonus, supporting both immune health and energy metabolism. Overall, this is a well-rounded, high-quality supplement that effectively supports gut health and general wellbeing.

Didn’t work for me - upset tummy
Had high hopes for this, as the original Hong Kong formula (which had much higher CFU) was positively used in Long Covid trials. I knew this version had lower CFU but thought I would give it a try. After 2 days worth it gave me diarrhoea. I may come back to it and reduce the dose, perhaps a few granules at a-time. You don’t get a leaflet or info with the box which would have been nice. Everything I knew about it I found out on the web. Perhaps it is the prebiotics they put in it that upset my tummy, but, it gave me the same reaction that I get if I eat gluten so made me quite unwell. . Possible for other people it will work, just glad I only ordered one weeks worth. Update: Trying to figure out why this didn’t agree with me so decided to research the original SIM01 Hong Kong formula to see if there was any big differences. The trial preparation (used in a Long Covid study albeit run & funded by the makers of the original formula) was described as containing 20 billion CFU, taken twice daily for six months, using galacto-oligosaccharides, xylo-oligosaccharides and resistant dextrin. The UK retail “Immunity+” is * 2* billion CFU per sachet once daily, and swaps in polydextrose for the GOS! I looked up polydextrose and google says “Polydextrose can cause diarrhoea because it acts as a soluble fiber and draws water into the colon”….but usually you would need to take 50g, the sachets only contain 150mg - so whilst it is annoying they have changed the prebiotic formula, it is a small amount.” It could be that I am intolerant of/ or sensitive to polydextrose,, or perhaps it was just my body reacting to the probiotics. I think I will look for a gentler formula.

I dont now
I've had this product for a few days and take one sachet a day. I've been using it for a while now. First and foremost, the ease of use and the fact that you can hide the sachet anywhere are a big plus. Honestly, 2 billion live bacteria isn't much, and in my opinion, taking these sachets has a marginal impact on our health. The taste isn't bad, but that's a personal preference. And one more thing: the price. Nearly £120 per kg seems a bit excessive to me. If you like these kinds of products, instead of buying yoghurt or kefir from the store, I highly recommend it. I prefer kefir.

Easy to Use, High Quality Pre/Proboitic
Having been on a few courses of antibiotics in the past 6 months I have been trying to boost my gut health in various ways. This supplement offers a good mix of Probiotics as well as Prebiotics, which I've not really seen in many supplements before. You also get the benefits of some added vitamins and minerals which support immune health. I think this is a great combination, particularly if you've just been on a course of antibiotics, or even if you are still taking them (timing is important if you are taking them due to them being cancelled out). While you only get 7 doses, what you do get is a high-quality supplement that will work, so take it as what it is, a quick boost to your immune health through your gut. It is good to have as a pick me up if you've been a bit under the weather or even if your diet has been a bit lacking.

Tummy support with a side of immune backup
I grabbed this as a bit of a pick-me-up during one of those weeks where everyone in the house had a sniffle and the baby was wiping their nose on everything I own. It’s a sachet job — mix with water or straight into a smoothie — and it actually tastes alright, kind of mild and a bit fruity, not that chalky-flavoured nonsense some supplements come with. I like that it covers a few bases: probiotics and prebiotics for digestion (which helps keep things moving in the right direction), plus zinc and B vitamins for a bit of immune and energy support. I felt a bit more balanced over the week I took them — no dodgy stomach, didn’t hit that usual mid-afternoon slump, and I didn’t catch the cold that was going round... which might be luck, or might be this doing its thing. Only 7 sachets in the box, so it’s more of a short-term boost than a long-haul supplement, but definitely handy to have in the cupboard for those wobbly weeks when your system needs a bit of TLC. Pros: Tastes good and easy to mix Supports digestion and immunity in one go Gentle on the gut — no bloating or weird side effects Great short-term boost when feeling a bit run down Cons: Only 7 sachets — not a long-term supply On the pricier side if used regularly Worth keeping on hand for when life’s chaotic (so... always?), especially during cold season or after a week of toddler leftovers and no sleep.

good supplement, insane price
You get a week of this supplement in easy to use little tubes. These contain powder that dissolves well and is pretty much taste and smell free. I can't really talk about effects, but for the positioning it's more something you'd get to top up after a course of anitbiotics than a daily, normal supplement, as otherwise it would end up being seriously pricey

7 days supply formulated to reach the gut alive
This 7 day supply of probiotics contains 3 strains of bacteria with dietry fibres, sugars, vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and zinc. This is designed to help the function of the immune system, support metabolism and improve microbiome balance. The daily dose comes in a sachet which can either be taken in room temperature water or non fizzy drinks or alcohol to prevent damage to the bacteria. The probiotics have been developed by the faculty of medicine at the Chinese university of Hong Kong to reach the gut alive using micro encapsulation technology. This improves the survivability of the bacteria. In addition the formulation has been driven by data analysis of the gut. The daily dose is easy to take dissolves into water well with little taste and isn't unpleasant. This is well presented and looks professionally made however I would have liked more than 7 days supply. It works out to be just over £2 per day.

Verkeerde inhoud/aantal porties genoemd in omschrijving
Erg misleidend dus.
