Shade match is great. Finish is wonderful- it looks super natural and never cakey. It's more shiny than matte, but doesn't look greasy or unnatural. The price is AMAZING. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, break me out, or cause dryness. It doesn't pill with any of my moisturizers or serums (I don't wear primer, so can't tell you about it's performance there). But it never sets down. It remains wet and sticky and requires powder or a good setting spray to prevent it from transferring to everything it touches and separating around the nose. I prefer to use as few products as possible to keep my skin clear and look as natural as possible, so that's the only minor drawback. But this is definitely a great product for the price and I have no clue why this isn't talked about and recommended more.

I just received this and am thrilled that I finally found a perfect match for my skin tone. It's been expensive/challenging finding the right shade, while I've tried out different brands. It is very light weight, going on more like a moisturizer than a 'cakey' base. It covers up my imperfections while looking quite natural. Also? Since it comes in a plastic tube, there is no waste of product. I use scissors to cut off bottom of tube when finishing it up, so I get every last bit. One VERY important thing to note? Covergirl products are cruelty free. No torturing of animals, such as beagels, to test their products. It is barbaric that this is still being done instead of computer models (in silico), etc. **Unfortunately, its parent company, Coty, does not have a blanket cruelty-free policy across all of its other owned brands.

I have to admit I have purchased several times in diffrent colors. I put it on with my hands and it covers nicely to use as I am late getting out the door. I know that it will have a consistent look all over my face. Thank you CoverGirl
