When I was looking for a keratin powder to start learning the process of making and installing K Tip extensions I was a little worried about ordering this product due to that most of the reviews look like it was a review this product and get it for free type thing. I didn’t see anything that looked like it was from a licensed hairdresser and a honest review on the products performance. But I was very impressed with how the product preformed and held up. I have used it to turn tape in extensions to K Tips and used it to install a full K tip application on 3 clients so far. Very happy and impressed with the hold of the product. I have noticed that it can be difficult to remove the bond after application without some kind of alcohol based removal solution. I tried the one by the same brand of the powder. But did no like it in the fact if it made reusing the extensions quite difficult. I have found just using rubbing alcohol on a q-tip is much easier and will evaporate out of the hair within minutes so there is no need to wash your clients hair or the extension hair before reapplication!

PLEASE DONT NOT JUDGE ME I HAVE TO REDO THE TOP. 😭😭✋🏾✋🏾 I literally just binge watch a bunch of tiktok videos for 3 months straight. And finally decided to just be delusional and have the audacity to put k-tips on my self🤷🏾♀️ As you saw the other reviews ... I also had one that was spilled in the bag. But everything was contained in the bag. Nothing actually spilled out anywhere. I bought 300 grams of curly hair extensions which was enough for my entire head and 3 jars of the keratin powder 28g per jar and each jar lastes me a bundle and a half. Make sure if your doing KTIPs you also get the loop brush this brand sells that for 15$ and the remover spray for about 20$ from the same brand. A lot of salon professionals use this brand which is why I bought it. I actually throughly enjoyed the powder it was fair easy to use . I can only assume that it's " good quality" because it was in every salon shop video. I do wish that they sold it in bigger jars though so that way I can just buy one big jar instead of having to buy three little jars but I still have a jar and a half left and I've put k-tips around my entire head with no leave out because my hair is very short so I figured out worse it would just look like I have micro braids at the top lmao but yeah. I do have to take the top part out in redo it. Again that is definitely user error not anything to do with the product. I unfortunately realized that my natural hair is very fine and also because it's very short I would have to take these down and make them like way smaller. Which I initially wanted to do but I was so scared that I would mess up so I did them bigger. Just do yourself the favor and make them even smaller lol. Unfortunately I thought I had ordered the removal spray but the spray never came so I had to reorder the spray from the same brand. All in all I love my k-tips I definitely look forward to buying more of the hair shop products and doing more k-tips on myself.

I got a little hot tool and I got this to take extensions I already had that were K / U tips I had removed last week and redo them as well as take non-K tip loose human extension HAIR! and turn it in to them, and it seems to worked well. I will update this after it is installed on my head. Part of the result I’m sure will be due to maybe a learning curve for me, since it was my first time and I just jumped into it, but it was pretty easy. You kinda have to build it up a little bit. I dipped my hot tool in the powder crystals, and then got a little bit on the end of my hair, but then once it was coded a bit and warm, I would dip the hair and into the powder itself to help build it up and I think that’s a good way to do it. I searched to the very end of Amazon, I swear, and as far as I know, this is the only product that looks appropriate and is real keratin. That is safe and what you want to use to attach hair to your head. Everything else might just be plastic and used on woodworking and Fixing your shoes… Read the fine print. So I’m giving it five stars for now. I’ll update this later after the install and see how they stay in. And how well they come out.

This is my first experience with keratin powder, and it's not bad. I do find it forms a little bit harder than the beads. And you have to be very cognizant not to use too much. But when you're making keraton tip extensions, this works very well

Works just as it should. I made several keratin extensions from hybrid extensions using this powder. I had no problems removing them or installing them Time will tell how they hold in the hair.
