Thermometer was accurate to my analog one. Like that it has a cloth covered probe cord so it doesn’t get hot.

A good price. Used for tracking oven temperature. Worked great. You can monitor the oven temp. with the probe in oven & the readout out of oven remotely. Was hard to find this style of oven temperature probe. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to monitor & track their oven temperature. Easy to use & good readable display.

I found this digital thermometer to work quite well for calibrating our ovens. It was very easy to use and a good value. I used a twist tie to attach the probe in the center of my oven and then did the calibration procedure for the oven. It took some time for everything to balance out, but now the oven temperature is much close to the set point and cooking times for recipes is more accurate.

Zero stars…the temp gauge just doesn’t work-so inaccurate (by 75-100 degrees higher) than the oven-it’s a great idea but it needs to be rethought-

I compared: • my oven setting • internal bimetal mechanical thermometer • IR thermometer • Hotloop temperature probe. I placed the probe in an empty cast-iron skillet, covered with a cast-iron lid, and let the temperature stabilize for 15–20 minutes. There could be some local heating from the heating element when it cycles on, but it definitely looks like the Hotloop is off by at least 10° My oven dial, my mechanical temperature dial, and my IR probe, all read within 5°.

I bought this one purpose, to confirm the digital temp on my Samsung oven. It did that just fine. The temperature accuracy is within three degrees, was easy to use, and it functioned just fine. Now that I have confirmed the oven probe works, there's no more need for it, so $13 was a bargain. There are issues. The box is a cheap, snap together box. Not much to look at. The magnet strength leaves much to be desired. I cannot attach it to the oven door because it is so weak the box slides down the door.

Nach zwei Heizperioden fiel das Zahlendisplay teilweise aus, vor allem im mittlerem Temperaturbereich zwischen 40 und 80 °C.Es kommt zu einem -Zeichen und Zahlenfragmenten, die nicht mehr lesbar sind. Es ist zu keiner Zeit höherer Temperatur als 93° C ausgesetzt gewesen.Auf dem Tisch liegend zeigt es noch immer die korrekte Raumtemperatur an.Ich habe zwei andere Ferntemperaturmesser für meine Zentralheizung ausprobiert, bin aber wieder bei einem Neukauf dieses Gerätes gelandet.Dieses funktioniert wieder sehr genau um die Zentalheizungsumlauftemperatur wieder korrekt zu messen.

Funziona perfettamente per quelli che sono i suoi compiti: dare l'esatta temperatura all'interno del forno per avere una cottura perfetta.

It's very basic but adequate and works exactly as required. It is designed for dry use only so cannot be placed in food. However I require this to check the oven temperature and for that it is perfect. It seems much more aquarate then my oven thermostat. Plus I can switch this around and use it in my top oven too. It is battery powered and does require that it is manually switched on/off, but so does my oven so this is no issue.

Handige thermometer. Helaas dat deze echter never nooit nie tot 300 graden gaat. Zodra de temperatuur 200 garaden wordt geeft hij HHH.H aan. Jammer dus niet bruikbaar in onze icen die tot 300 graden gaat.
