Another of the endless is revealed in Desire who is playing a long game on her/his/its brother Morpheus. The story follows Rose Waker who is going to England to meet her grandmother, the same character from #1 who was impregnated while asleep. Her meeting with her grandmother is just the beginning of this tale. She must go on to find her brother who she has not seen in years. My favorite character in this book is the man who never dies and ultimately who he turns out to be. Neil Gaiman is an amazing talent and I am so angry that it took so many years for me to read this series. I would never want to give away an ending but this story and how the dream vortex was resolved is fantastic. The series covered the first book and this one in season one and they’ve covered it well with the details and the plot. The genius behind this plot line that everything is not only connected due to Lord Morpheus but because of separate various characters is what keeps me and I believe multiple people going forward with this series.
