## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are the ingredients including vitamin c, non gmo?  what is the source of the vitamin c?**
A: We regret this product is not listed as non-gmo and Now Food has not provided us with the source of the Vitamin C.

**Q: Did anyone see good results with this supplement that only took 1 or 2 capsules a day instead of the recommended 3?**
A: I have been taking 2 a day for a couple years now and my hair and nails have grown.  I wouldn’t say they make your hair and nails stronger or thicker though.

**Q: What does folate as folic acid mean? I can only use products with folate in it not "folic acid."**
A: The FDA requires labels to list all folates as folic acid. This is actual folic acid, not methylfolate. It is debatable whether one can live if they cannot metabolize folic acid, as that form of the vitamin is the end result of digesting foods containing methylfolates (our bodies then re-methylate it) and DNA production requires folates, as does proper fetal development. Health authorities, such as the NIH, have reported that folic acid works nearly as well as methylfolate even for those with genetic variations in the MTHFR enzyme.

**Q: Do you like this product?**
A: Yes. I will buy it again because: (1) it is in capsule form; and (2) I can actually feel the niacin content, and my skin looks brighter with ingestion of supplemental niacin.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 months and nails peeling & skin issues, hair fall back

I'm on my 4th bottle & considering canceling my subscription because my nails are peeling, my facial skin is getting small white bumps under the skin (not pimple or whiteheads), I have dry patches on my face I've never had before and my hair is beginning to fall again. BEFORE I switched to this, I took Dermaven hair skin and nails vitamins and I while my hair stopped falling and I have no facial skin issues, my nails never became hard, but they never peeled. I think I'm having issues because I've been off the Dermaven so I'm back to square one. It seems this product is not only not working, but might just be causing new issues (nail peeling/skin). In all the years I took Dermaven, there were a couple of times I stopped it and each of those times, my hair fall returned. When I got back on it, the hair fall stopped. I had hoped this product would keep my hair from falling but I'm at the point where I believe it's not effective. Plus I know hair goes in 4 stages: growth, transition, resting, and shedding. Maybe I'm just in the shedding phase, I don't know. But I sure don't like how my skin and nails are at this point. I switched due to lower cost of the NOW & I usually trust them. So no clue what to do. :( I decided to go back to PRL Dermaven (now called Hair Skin Nails)
