It seems that more and more people are writing spiritual books, sharing their wisdom and experiences. As a person who, over the years, has read many books in this genre, looking for new ideas and experiences in which to expand myself, I can attest that Mary Magdalene Beckons is far above nearly all of the others. Above, in both the quality of the material and applicability of the material in one’s life, this is a life-altering book. It has taken me to the next level in my journey, given me new tools with which to navigate life. I am absolutely awestruck by the messages themselves. They are simple and very readable, yet so precise--she conveys her ideas beautifully in such a short space. And the information itself is not surface spirituality, but deeply gets to the heart of the idea, again without being wordy. In many instances, the concepts are profound, things I had never thought of before. I love that--it leads to expansion! The idea of going into the pain (I always removed myself from painful experiences) or the idea that mind is not the same as consciousness and that the mind is in service to transformation of consciousness--excellent! I especially love how she is not repetitive at all, except when she comes around to what I think is her central point of her teachings, which she scatters throughout the book--namely to take in God's light, transform it to love in the heart and then radiate it out into the world--so simple! I think in many cases, in this type of book I would read the actual messages and skip over the accompanying commentary. The commentaries, however, are more than just an explanation that deepens my understanding (which they do very nicely). They add onto the message, bringing it more depth, more expansion. They are more like a completion of the idea than merely a commentary. Overall, the book is so well done, so well written, truly a jewel. It is a beautiful accomplishment and what a lovely tribute to Mary Magdalene and the messages she brings. It is a book I am sure I will be returning to repeatedly, gaining fresh insights with each reading of these many-layered, profound messages.

This is a channeled book which is something I love, but I realize that some will be turned off by this. It is Mary Magdalene talking through the author. Each channeled message is then expounded upon by the author, which I found very insightful and helpful. I read the book once and I don't think I got all that I could out of it, although I changed profoundly as a result. It took me a while to realize how transformational this book is. While reading it and especially after finishing it, I went through a process of getting insights, changing and growing. It is a book that I will go back to again. IMO it takes reading the book more than once to get the most out of it. Also reading the whole book proved to be critical for me. One part that was essential for me was toward the end, and still it took a while for it to sink in. Perhaps this book is best absorbed through the heart, which is something I am fairly new at. Mercedes is both a clear channel and an excellent writer. It's taken me a while to read this book, because it has such a wealth of just plain good stuff in it. I've already had occasions to use what I've gained from it, in a couple of challenging interactions with others. The whole concept of emotions being basically messages from our inner guidance has me looking at them in a whole new light - not an easy task for a guy raised in our patriarchal society. Give this to friends and loved ones with whom you'd like to connect more deeply and at a more genuine level - and keep a copy for yourself to refer back to as a sort of an oracle for those times you may want a bit more clarity.

If you are interested in how to access and magnify the feminine in your life, these channelled teachings from Mary Magdalene are invaluable. Way ahead of her time, and suppressed by the Church, she was a true partner in love to Jeshua. She speaks in 25 short teachings about the sacred feminine- body, sexuality, emotions, relationships, opening the heart, and evolving into unconditional love. They are powerful and succinct. I had more trouble with Mercedes Kirkels commentaries after each of the teachings. Helpful and interesting sometimes but just superfluous and tedious at others. You can successfully use the book without reading these at all. But some may appreciate the extra explanation. A book for spiritual women with existing faith in the divine who want more clarity about the sacred feminine and how to bring this forward in their lives.

Highly recommended to everybody to read this book, it is very moved me so deeply! I will keep read repeat more often because it is my favourite book. Number one top of my list.

This book seemed to beckon to me so I purchased it. I was very worried when I started to read it that it would conflict with my 'spiritual' practices over the last many years. Imagine how I felt when I reached the end and discovered that Mary Magdalene explains beautifully a practice or Way of Living that I incorporated into my life many years ago!!! I find the process of living from your heart more and more compelling as time goes on and I am truly amazed at the way I am starting to look at life. What Mary Magdalene states so clearly are concepts that I have been groping towards and mulling over in my mind recently and it is absolutely brilliant to have them not just confirmed, but put into a wonderfully clear context. Occasionally I talk to a very small number of people about the way I live my life but I always find it difficult to explain - now I can just give them your book! So thank you for this book from the bottom of my heart.

This beautiful book is for anyone who seriously wishes to delve deeper into finding meaning and guidance for our existence here in duality. As I read each chapter I feel fully supported in my desire to make sense of my own experiences, pains and emotions. Mary guides us to explore our feelings on a much deeper level, accepting and valuing all of life's experiences without feeling that if we were 'more spiritual' or 'more enlightened' we wouldn't be having these emotions. Our emotions are our guides if only we understand how to fully experience them - and Mary shows us how, through self-love. I am finding that following her advice on addressing my own pain, I find myself much more able to love others who my thinking mind wants to blame for my pain, without reservations of fear or judgement. After each channelling, Mercedes Kirkel offers us the breadth of her knowledge and experience to lovingly encourage ways for us to implement Mary's teachings in our daily lives.
