All metal, feels heavy-duty, no plastic anywhere. The cold shoe mount slides into my camera’s hot shoe cleanly and tightens down with no play. Also has a 1/4-20 thread on the bottom so I can stick it on a tripod or cage too. Setup took literally 10 seconds. No tools, no fuss. Phone goes on and off in a second which is great when I need to switch between filming and texting. Only thing to note — if your phone doesn’t have MagSafe or a MagSafe case, this won’t work. I’d recommend grabbing a magnetic ring sticker if you’re on Android. For the price, it’s a no-brainer for anyone doing dual-camera content or BTS work
