Regular primer socks up water and will rust if your primer is over bare metal very fast. Primer sealer does just what it says seals from the elements. Hope this helps Bart 😊 **Q: Can this be used over filler and sandable primer?** A: As far as I can tell this can be used with body filler. Apply 2 or more coats of primer to the area. It must be left over 24 hours, depending on the temperature & humidity, to completely dry before sanding. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by T***E on 24 October 2016* very good product but expensive ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quality, good price point *by L***T on 25 June 2026* Good product for autobody repair.
