Great hair styling cream. Used Days of Dirt before but find the MALIN + GOETZ better hold, look, finish and scent. Definitely my new go to. Provides good hold but with a “soft finish” look. Scent is light but very nice sage. Can adjust hold or look by using more for a slicked look or just a bit for hold and soft “back from the beach” look. Gives hair a nice softness with no greasy or sticky feel at all. Like a good conditioner.

I tried countless products for my hair. THIS is the only product that tames my out-of-control hair. I love the texture, smell and how long it lasts during the day. I have thick hair, about shoulder length, and the product seems to have a light hold and a little shine, its also good for controlling frizz. For me, it's perfect for having my hair slicked back. It has a great light scent too. I just think the price is too much for a product like this.

This is probably the best styling cream I've ever used, weighing all factors. It provides a light, natural hold and moisturizes too. The scent is a little unusual, but not bad or noxious like practically every other styling cream I've tried -- it stays with you about an hour after application, then fades...that's better than other creams I've tried that are so noxious. So, since it works well, softens the hair, and the smell is pretty good and not overbearing, this is a winner.

A 3 for now. Have not tried it yet, but the sage scent is very strong. Rubbed a little on my hand to see if the scent would fade a bit, but not so far. I’ll try on my hair when I have no place to go and will follow up.

My husband wears his hair pretty short these days with a little texture . He has a tendency to have one stubborn cowlick that makes him look rather unkempt , and if he uses this hair pomade , which is neither greasy or stiff, it will simply make his hair behave. Not so much him … :) The product has a light, fresh lemon, herbaceous odour that is not overpowering and disappears fairly quickly so he doesn’t smell like anything other than his delightful, clean self.

I have tried multiple hair cream products from different brands but nothing beats the Malin + Goetz styling cream. It has a hint of sage smell and holds hair just enough to keep it from frizzing and yet not sticky. It is a great alternative to pomade or hair wax especially for those looking to have a natural looking hair. The hair cream does have a mild hold though, so one tip would be to do a round of hairspray after setting it with the hair cream first, particularly on windy days or before a Friday night out.

Been using this for years—good hold without adding too much texture or weight. Not sticky at all. Smells amazing but not overpowering. A tube lasts a long time for short hair. I put it on damp and then when it's totally dried, I fluff it up with my fingers.
