GEEKRIA 6.35mm TRS Stereo Male to 2.5mm TRRS Female Adapter, Connects 2.5mm TRRS Balanced Headphone Cables to 6.35mm Single-Ended Outputs, No Mic

I got this to connect my Sennheiser HD58X to my Yamaha RX-V800 receiver and it works flawlessly. I have a 2.5mm balance jack so I needed exactly this to make it work. It's awesome and it has not white noise, so now I can listen to stuff without disturbing my sleeping wife. For the price is really good and comes with this lovely leather bag to save it. Seems pretty sturdy but we'll see with time.

Was going to use this with a long 2.5-2.5 cord for headphones into my mixer. The 2.5 plug wiggles in the adapter, and you get left sound only, right sound only, or, if you hold it just right, stereo. Sadly no way to make it STAY in stereo. So going back...

Finally, my new Schiit headphone amp can talk to all of my headphones. It's a good thing, Martha.

This is not a cheap cast brass adapter. I was a little skeptical due to price, but it was very well made and tight on my 2.5 plug. It even came with a bag I now use with my planar earbuds. Would strongly recommend.

This is pretty much all I've seen that can turn 2.5mm balanced headphones into 6.35mm single ended headphones. I use this with my xDuoo TA-30 and Sennhesier HS 6xx headphones. It works brilliantly. My only concern is the length, which is prodigious. My setup works fine, but I'd prefer a right angle connector. Since there's nothing else out there that does this and this works well, I recommend this.

I can’t give it 1 star because it does do what it is supposed to. However, if you bump or move the cable even a little the sound cuts out on the left side. The tolerance must be off in either the plug or the jack. I know it’s not my headphones because in my DAC with 2.5 trrs jack I have no issues at all.

This is for the 1/4" male to 2.5mm female. I bought this so I could plug my IEMs with a 2.5 balanced cable into a 1/4" slot without having the change the MMCX cable. I don't know enough about electronics to know if it'd really work, and I was very careful with volume when I first experimented. Works flawlessly without any effort. I would recommend caution, however. I am going to buy the same thing but with a 3.5mm male so I can use the same headphones everywhere.
