Lionel Richie has been a part of my life from the early 80s, from the Commodores to his solo career and is truly one of my fave R&B artists. To read and understand his life background and tie it to this musical genius made the reading of the book that much more fulfilling and pleasurable. LR is a legend and I truly send my respect to this giant of an artist with heart, talent and so much more that he shares with the world. Read this book, you will not be disappointed.

One of the most inspiring books I have ever read. As a fan of Motown music I loved the unbelievable and hilarious stories from the 70's and 80's music scene, but what touched me the most was the LOVE that comes from Lionel Richie's personality. He also teaches us how to overcome shyness and fear in order to make our dreams come true. In an interview he said that he had like 1000 pages of stories, well, I would love to read the rest 500...
