This is perfect for planting in pots. I like to use this in the bottom to help hold the soil in without clumping or retaining too much moisture especially during the rainy season. The product is consistent. It is also low dust. I would buy it again. Great to use also with succulents and cactus.

As described. Weight as promised , minus an ounce or two . Good for mix with potted plant soil , provide aeration , and to layer bottom for good drainage . Clean , dust free.. I'm happy .

This product can be used... and perhaps, for some applications, the problem that I experienced would not be such a big deal. But my bag contained too much dust, small particles and pieces that were smaller than 1/4 inch. Perhaps my bag simply received too much rough handling. Aside from all of those small pieces, it seems that it could be a decent product.
