Late 40's guy, started experiencing male pattern baldness at the crown and front hairline several years ago and decided to try using a red light helmet, finasteride tablets and topical minoxidil. I've tried many brands of minoxidil (well known brands and off brand) and all of them caused serious scalp irritation to the point of me clawing away and scratching due to the unbearable itching. This caused more of my hair to fall out and my scalp would bleed. Reading about it online I discovered many people encounter similar irritation and it's due to alcohol being the main carrier of the solution that contains the active ingredients. Why these companies think alcohol is good on skin over extended periods of time is beyond me. I had given up and stuck with just the red light and finasteride until a friend recommended this non alcohol minoxidil. I have been using for a week and absolutely delighted that my scalp seems to be fine and is now thriving. It's not even very oily and doesn't seem to leave much residue on my hair so styling is easier too. I highly recommend this over all of the other sprays and mousses out there. It's very competitively priced too. I'm updating this review as I have recently had to stop using this due to a negative skin reaction after months of use. It had been working really well up until that point and I don't know why it's causing a reaction after so long, but I suspect a product buildup on the skin. I work out frequently and I think sweat from my head is causing the active ingredients to free flow down my neck and forehead. I have now switched to oral Minoxidil. I've deducted a star but maybe other users won't have the same experience.

I have used Rogaine foam and this alcohol free liquid spray works well. It dries quickly and is not too greasy. The customer service and rewards are excellent. Will definitley continue to use this product.

😘😘😘😘 I am very happy with this product, I’m currently on my second bottle and don’t plan on using any other minoxidil products. Elevate solved the MAIN issue that I had with minoxidil; dryness. Other products use alcohol to transmit the 5% minoxidil, I’m guessing because it’s cheap to produce but in my opinion is one of the worst things to constantly apply to your skin. Compared to all other brands: Rogaine, Kirkland minoxidil, foams, droppers, etc. – there are only a select few that have NO ALCOHOL in the formula. The smell doesn’t bother me (it does have a perfume/slight fragrance to it) and it absorbs pretty quickly. 10/10 experience for me. I apply mainly to my crown and hairline, which have produced amazing results so far. I will update my review if results change for any reason but so far, NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!! Highly recommend and the ingredients are awesome if you take a look at them, includes a lot of herbal extracts that complement the minoxidil quite nicely.

Update: I was contacted by the seller who stated that though the product is made in China it has FDA approval. I used this for the first time a few days ago, so can't say whether the product will work for me. Nowhere on the product page is the place of manufacture listed. Only on the bottle itself does the P.R.C. appear in very small print. I went back to the page to see if I had missed the manufacturing location, or any testing the product had undergone, but didn’t see it. Second, the bottle sends out a wide spray, which I found awkward when trying to spray small, targeted areas. In trying to spray my receding widow's peak, some spray hit my eye--something that is uncomfortable. Granting that I am clumsy :) this is not the minoxidil application spray for me. Finally, the spray itself left my hair feeling sticky then stiff after it dried. This sticky-stiff feeling has happened with other minoxidil products, but not as much.

I have been using this product for a little over 4 weeks, twice a day, morning, and evening and so far I'm very happy with the results. Areas that were thinning have slowed, and my hair looks healthier. It’s not over night results with any minoxidil product but definitely have slight improvements overall. Its been a week i have started using it. Smells fine and does not leave hair sticky. Will write more after using for at least 5 months
