The alcohol based works well but it dry my hair out so much it does not feel soft so I got this and it does not dry my hair out and it makes my hair very soft after removing tape in hair and the removal process was breeze to do with zero damage and no hair falling out too! Natural hair is greasy but glue free. The glue dissolves on the tapes and feels slimy, and they just slide out with a bit of prizing away from natural hair.
