When firing the 4th magazine with the same CO2 capsule, the gun sudddenly swithched from semi-auto full-auto mode. Anyone having the same experience?

There's probably not enough CO2 to fully kick back the bolt so you get a half cock which will make the gun fire in full auto. My advice, shoot 2 or at the most, 3 mags with one CO2!!

is it an airsoft gun?

No. This shoots steel BBs. It is alot of fun but definitely not Airsoft

What is the max fps for this gun?

Its about 350 fps and it drops off pretty quick as the cartridge expires. Still a fun gun...

Can this be dry fired?

You can't help but dry fire it. The 18 bbs runs out so fast you always get 2-3 or more blank shots. Dry firing a Co2 doesn't hurt them at all. You usually dry fire them until completely empty before disassembly for working on them. One thing...I doubt you get more than a few thousand shots out of these guns before irreparable things go bad. The first thing to go is the barrel set screw (reparable) next is the magazine retention pin, hard to repair. These things just shake themselves to death.
