Rosemary Repel Lice Shampoo, Conditioner & Spray Trio for Kids

First time attending camp without getting lice because of these products. My daughter usually picks it up every year with her fine curly hair. The shampoo and conditioner are very gentle and make her hair easy to detangle in the shower. The hairspray is an everyday task now Monday through Friday.

use every time I give my kid a bath. they go to school and still have no lice. Good quality last a long time. Very good product.

Wow, my kid has very frustrating hair, I got this because my child goes to a less that hygienic School. This stuff works amazing even if you take its original intent out of the equation. It cleans hair extremely well and conditions and the spray is a phenomenal detangler. It normally takes me 15 to 20 minutes to brush out my kids hair and I did it in less than three minutes this time. Seriously great product!

The wonderful scent is strong as you first apply, but soften after rinsing out and drying. Which is probably good. Personally, I would be just fine if they stayed more intense. For an adult here, in my use case. I rarely feel products are 5 stars, but this product is hands down wonderful. Im smitten. I will be using this regularly just because of the salon-like aroma. It’s Lux. They immediately put me in the times I went to high-end salons to get my hair cut and colored, only better. The shampoo is a nice one, where my hair didn’t feel like straw or rat up. I felt like I was using a good shampoo. ~Whew The conditioner is almost there, but I (added a little of my own conditioner after the rinse, because I wanted silkier. It wasn’t bad, and is worth it for the aroma. [EDIT DAY 5 using, I take this back. It’s great in its own now. The first day, I wanted a boost. But as I used all the products daily, combing tightly, it’s pretty amazing. I have soft curly-red light brown hair, but found I love conditioners for black-curly. They hydrate and soften. This conditioner gets better with use.] The spray, same. I don’t usually use a spray like this, but it seems becoming a staple. All the scents soften after being rinsed out and hair dries. After applying all three, I styled with my own oils & conditioners to very hot blow dry my hair, or leave dripping wet combed tight. The latter reminds me of gorgeous hairstyles of BW era, as the bottom develops soft waves. For those scared of strong scents, the purpose is that to repel insects. I normally use essential oils alone or with carrier oils or water, and now Vicks vapor rub on my chest and nape of neck, along hairline. Essential oils are much more potent, too potent for going to work, sometimes. With just my first uses here of these products, I can see the intention. They lighten a lot compared to when you first apply them. I’m hoping they keep the potency to repel dang bugs. Anyone outdoors or certain work environments, live know the desperation. (Cleaning the roof and siding of my house, cutting down trees, I’m encountering bugs plopping on my head.) I give the product 5* stars.

It has a nice smell and lathers nicely. I don't know about the efficacy. My daughter had lice about a month ago, which means I got it too. I heard about this then and ordered it. I thought it was going well..... But I just found a bunch of nits in her hair. No live bugs, but lots of nits. She just started a new school last week, so I assume she got it from school. But the point is, why does she have nits when this is supposed to repel lice??? 4 stars because it still works as shampoo, conditioner and smells nice.

If you're purchasing this because you've had a head lice scare in your little's class, DO IT! This was recommended to us by a mom with older children who used this consistently in lower elementary and their kids never caught head lice! We have a child with very sensitive skin and scalp (and long long hair) and I was a little hesitant to purchase something with tea tree oil in it but her hair washed out beautifully, really smooth and easy to manage, and best of all, no reaction after using for days. There were a few cases of head lice / nits in her class but they never spread to her. Smell wise it's quite subtle and fades quite quickly after showering! Other recommendations (as this was our first go around with head lice): Keeping her long hair tied back neatly and out of her face, twice monthly checks with a nit comb to make sure she wasn't carrying anything.

I'm not sure if this will really work, but it gives us a little more piece of mind. My daughter doesn't love the smell, but she likes it enough. I use the detangler all the time to brush through her hair.
