Picture says kalbi, description says bulgogi. there is a distinct difference and this brand offers both. which one is being sold and delivered?

The picture I see is Korean BBQ sauce and underneath it says Bulgogi sauce and it is delicious (I don't know what "kalbi" is!)

Is the date on the top of the jar the expiration date because mine was over 1 year old already?

I just checked my bottle and there is no date on the top of the jar but the expiration date is at the bottom of the ingredients label.

Is this sauce gluten free?

In the list of ingredients it has wheat, so….I think that would make it have gluten, yes?

I don’t mind a little heat but have a 96 yr old mom. Is it super spicy?

I also don’t do spicy and have found this to NOT be spicy. I always taste a little before adding the raw meat and if needed you could add a little water or a bit of sugar. Hope this answers you and you enjoy!
