It's interesting, this is a quite heavy oil with a buttery flavor. When I tried avocado honey, I noticed something similar, even though I wouldn't expect such a characteristic to be transferred. It's easy to cook with, once you bring it up to temp, the higher smoke temperature makes it more forgiving when stir frying, though you still need to exercise care, you are only going up maybe one setting on your stove. I also use it as my additive for my meal replacement powders, and there the viscosity is particularly noticeable, but it doesn't alter the flavor at all.In terms of literal flavor, it is neutral, nothing like olive oil for example. When cold I would say it is mildly vegetal, just a hint of acridity, barely there. It would be fine on almost anything.I would recommend it, especially if you cook with oil often, it's worth a try anyway. I don't know if I would make it a permanent part of my pantry, I usually use a good olive oil, but with the size of the bottle it should last me a long time.
