Great communication all around. There was a hiccup with the shipment (an Amazon mix-up), but KneadAce made it right without any fuss. That kind of integrity still means something.The starter itself was simple to get going, with clear, straightforward instructions. It took to feeding just like it should, growing steady and strong. We’ve kept it going, using even the discard in other recipes. Nothing wasted, the way it should be.Seems to be a good, honest product and company. I’d recommend it to any beginner or just someone looking for the easier button.

At first, a funny smell. Day two it was gray looking and did not smell like sourdough starter. Third day it had some mold growing on it so I threw it out. I hope the seller can refund me or possibly replace it. I don’t know if The other pack that I got with it is of the same quality. . Not a very good starter. Probably will try the 2nd pack, Then move on.Here’s the review update. They sent me another package of this to try. I haven’t as of yet, but I can change the review some and up the number of stars.
