Review: Perfect solution to my problem. - I had been using a dryer cup/desiccant to store my hearing aids overnight for years. Recently I noticed that my battery life was getting shorter. The problem became progressively worse to the point that sometimes they would only last a couple of hours. I began wondering if it was a moisture issue as it was midsummer and it was very humid. I began shopping on desertcart for a solution and finally decided to try this Kapak unit. Almost immediately after I started using it my battery life began to get better and after only a couple of days it was back to normal. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and it seems to have solved the problem completely. The unit is super simple to use and I like the fact that it not only dries (with auto-shutoff) but also disinfects using UV light. I am very happy with this product and would strongly recommend it. Review: Works Like A Charm - 😉👍 - The electronic Kapak Ultra Violet C hearing aid dryer and dehumidifier works like a charm. I got hearing aids several years ago from a local brick and mortar store that sells them. Under their advice, I purchased a dryer there at the same time. I used that dryer every night from day one. When I went in for a check-up, I was told I needed to dry my hearing aids out nightly. I was immediately pointed to the dryer unit they were selling. Now I did notice that in the summer, I would take out my hearing aids and there would be a bit of moisture in the battery area. In the mornings, it often times was still there. At the time, I thought nothing of it. However this time around, I decided to do a bit more research here on desertcart with dryers and see what others had to say about them. After reading a ton of reviews, I decided on the Electronic Kapak dryer. I am very happy with my purchase as it does a wonderful job of drying my hearing aids. No more moisture is evident in the mornings. It even costs less than the one they were selling at the store. I highly recommend this unit to anyone that wears hearing aids. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks! ## Features - FAST & EFFORTLESS REMOVES SWEAT & MOISTURE: Simply put your devices in and press the one-touch button. I'm looking for something very small** A: Around 4”x6” and around 2” tall. Very small for what it is, and my hearing aids fit just perfectly inside. (I have Phonak Naida SP hearing aids). **Q: is there a fan in the unit? if so how loud is it? my wife is very sensitive to sound and this will be on the night stand beside our bed** A: There is no fan or noise with this unit, except when you first turn it on. That noise is almot imperceptible and lasts less than a second. **Q: How often should this be used?** A: My audiologist recommended using it every night, which is what I've been doing. **Q: Can you leave batteries in when you dry them?** A: Hi It is recommended that you remove the battery before drying as the increased heat may result in running the battery down prematurely. We have however received feedback from some users that they leave the battery in and it doesn't seem to affect the battery life. This may be as a result of the type of battery used but the manufacturers official position is that it is better to remove the battery. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect solution to my problem. *by G***S on August 30, 2024* I had been using a dryer cup/desiccant to store my hearing aids overnight for years. It works ok but needs to be replaced often. This thing allows for me to dry my aids without worrying about replacing the kit. It has done great when my hearing aids got wet and needed to be dried. It does use heat so be careful grabbing your hearing aids before the cycle is complete. Remove your batteries before putting your hearing aids in. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kapak Ultra Violet C clean hearing aid dryer and dehumidifier automatic dry case - 8 pieces hearing aid amplifier cleaning tools, earbuds/Headphones/Airpods cleaner brush kits with case - EZY DOSE Hearing Aid Blower, Clears Moisture & Ear Wax, Helps Improve Sound Quality, Help Prevent Hearing Aid Repairs, Easy to Use and Convenient for Travel, Blue, BPA Free --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/71624966-kapak-uv-c-hearing-aid-dryer-and-dehumidifier-removes-sweat](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/71624966-kapak-uv-c-hearing-aid-dryer-and-dehumidifier-removes-sweat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
