Kenmore KW1050 SpotLite™ Go Portable Heated Carpet & Upholstery Spot Cleaner, 16Kpa Power Suction with Versatile Tools for Pets, Area Rugs and Couches

After waiting for my previous spot cleaner warranty for almost 3 months I bought this machine, I have pets you need one of this at all times. But when it arrived it didn't spray no matter what I did to troubleshoot it didn't spray. Can't give it more than 1 star or less. I've seen similar reviews online.

Where oh where has the Kenmore SpotLite Go been all my life??? I bought this little machine because we just adopted a rescue cat that (surprise!) has IBS, and desperately needed an easy and effective way to spot clean carpet and upholstery on an ongoing basis. The unit excels for that purpose, and I like the way it works so much that I have now used it to clean every inch of our rugs and upholstered furniture. We keep a tidy and clean house, so I was shocked at how much dirt came out of the carpets in particular <Insert gross emoji here>. I am so happy that my carpets are clean, and that spot cleanups are no longer a problem. Pros: 1) The unit is very easy to fill and empty; you just pop the bins out and back in. I can do a deep-clean on about 10 square feet of heavy pile carpet before the dirty water receptacle needs to be emptied, so there is a lot of popping out and popping in. The bins (and the unit in general) seem very sturdy so I'm not worried about breakage during this process. 2) Suction is fantastic, so shampooing leaves even thick-pile wool rugs just a little damp. 3) Hot water function works easily (just push a button) and really well (hot out of the sprayer). I am super glad I bought a unit with this functionality, given how much dirt it has been pulling out of my carpets! 4) Unit is light and very portable, and its generous cord length offers convenience. 5) Translucent cover on the wand allows you to see just how much dirt is coming up, so you can go over a spot multiple times if it's really nasty. 6) Compactness makes it easy to maneuver and store. Cons: Only minor quibbles: none would discourage me from buying this machine in the slightest, but the manufacturer could improve them a bit. 1) The space between the little arms on the plug that are supposed to snap over the cord to keep it in place is too small, so I can't use that functionality. 2) The clip on the side of the unit does not fit the wand, so it kind of flops freely when stored. 3) Cleaning solution is measured in 6 or 9 capfuls depending on the size of the bottle. Weird that there are 2 measurements for the same solution. Also measuring this way is quite messy; I ended up using a 1/4 cup measure instead. 4) The rocker switch that triggers the spray often gets stuck in the "on" position, but I think that is probably a defect and I am trying to get a replacement. Update: one phone call to Kenmore customer service and they are sending me a replacement wand. Easy peasy.

Bought it new. First time I tried to use it, no water would move through the hose. Followed the troubleshooting guide and it still doesn’t work. But a different brand.

Unit would not spray right out of the box. I own a professional cleaning unit, so I'm very familiar with the workings of this unit. I'm very very handy with issues like this. I've repaired fridges, washers, dryers, vacuum cleaners, etc... When this wouldn't pump, I attached the cleaning tool AND sealed it so it would directly suck the HOT water out of the clean tank. Barely trickled out. Now, the suction of this unit is amazing, but that being said... it's obvious that this unit was never tested. Too bad because I was really looking forward to trying the unit out, especially because it had heat like my professional one does! I'm waiting for the replacement and HOPEFULLY that one works. I will update

Easy to use, small size with great suction. Had a heavy set in stain and it completely removed with two passes. Small and powerful.

Bad manufacturing batch. The first one I ordered didn't work. The second replacement also does not spray water. I tried the instructions to prime the pump but nothing worked. Huge pain to return twice.

Nice looking however went to go use it and it doesn’t spray, it will suck but when it comes to the stay function nothing happens. Sucks as I was in a bind before a showing and need to clean up a spill from my child.
