Outstanding book.
A must have for all children in my opinion. A story on so many levels, friendship, determination, overcoming fears, and generally understanding the world around us. A great bedtime story as the chapters are quite short, with your child then reading the chapters independently.

Lovely story - no pictures
Got this book to try and help with my 3.5yr old, who's become very terrified of the dark! We Was both disappointed at first because I didn't realise it was a "regular" black and white paper book with very little pictures...not what my daughter is use to but my daughter has loved it so far. I Was planning to just going to read one chapter a night, however she's been asking for more, so night #2 we are already in chapter 4 She already said tonight "I like the dark" So fingers crossed it's helping and working ;) Great story, well written, easy and enjoyable to read.. It's great she's using her imagination well but she does keep turning the pages whilst I'm trying to read (tearing the pages) little annoying!!! I am about to look for another version of the book with pictures

Arrived quickly, lovely story & excellent quality
My daughter had been reading this in school. She had been quite unsettled at night for a few nights after a bad dream. Then coincidently she started to read this book in school but the book had to remain in school. Bought this for her & she loved it so much, she has re-read this over again!

Helped with confidence
This was a great story for when a fear of the dark kicked in. We read a couple of pages a night and then would talk about the owl the next morning.helped to re grow confidence in the dark

Have no fear.
Every child should own this book. If your wee boy or girl is afraid of the dark this will help them overcome their fear and that’s a promise.

Sehr schönes Kinderbuch
"The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark" ist ein sehr schönes Kinderbuch.

A must read for the children
It obvious for my daughter to like this book but here I am, totally in love with the character and storyline of the book. The book innocently tells a child how to deal with fear... loved it..
