However I would recommend buying a size larger than what you would normally wear. The torso length is a bit on the small side. I’m 5’ 9” and 170~ lbs and the shirt is prone to coming untucked from my pants and sliding up my back. Especially when wearing a plate carrier or under a heavy bag. Also would recommend washing it a couple times prior to wearing it to soften the ripstop-style sleeves and collar. Out of the box they are very stiff! **Q: I’m a “41 1/2” chest normally wear large shirts. will this shirt shrink. if not i need a large, if it does should i get an xl?** A: Hi, sir ,i suggest you should choose Large, it will fit you very well. Also discovered that the arm velcro pockets have 2 pockets each, a large inner pocket and a smaller one on top, which was a pleasant surprise. I thoroughly recommend this combat shirt so far.So Normally I wear large everything as far as tops go, I'm 6'5", 200 lbs. I have a fairly lean build, the chest portion to this top fit really well and is very comfortable, the sleeve materiel feels nice and seems durable as well. But for some reason the shoulders and the seem that runs along the back across the shoulder blades is weirdly tight and uncomfortable. The collar also sticks up awkwardly far as well, I don't know why they went with a design that uses so much excess for it either.
