Not much strength is needed to bind the motor. **Q: how do you know when it is charged?** A: I saw a lot of questions so I tested the charging with a RUIDENG tester and it charges at 1 amp if your charger is up to it. It also appears to charge with the switch off at the same rate, but there is no charge indicator when switched off. It also stops charging off when charged. I haven't had it long enough to review it yet. **Q: How many modes of operation does this massager have?** A: Are u talking about speed it max out at 30 for intensity.
