I have been using Down to Earth Organic Fish Bone Meal in my garden for about 8 years now. Somewhere in the late fall or early spring, I usually spread an application across the top of my my garden rows and then when I actually put my plants into the ground, I put about two ounces into each hole so the roots have easy access to it. This is going into my garden so I'm not overly concerned with the smell, but there is actually very little fish smell from this product. I grow indeterminate tomato plants between 12' - 14' tall and I have pepper plants with root balls larger than a 5 gallon bucket and stems the size of a 50-cent piece. My soil has improved every year and I get amazing plants with amazing fruit. I will continue to use this and to recommend it.

Best thing for your garden. Makes everything grow fast big. It has the bone for calcium. Great for tomatoes,no bloom rot. I put in before tilling,or turning over dirt. Get every year,lots of it. Smell like fish,but,hello that’s what it is. Wear old pants,no wind when pouring in garden. I use cow manure and that smells like,well you know . Gardens like all that stuff. Gardening not for wimps,you have to get dirty. If you haven’t ever tried,it’s worth it. Works like magic. I’ve had a 6” yellow squash grow in 4 weeks. From seed to picking. Not every time,but I saw it happen.

Mix with bio fish for outstanding garlic performance. I prep my soil in late September with plenty of bio fish and Fish Bone Meal. Garlic harvest are wonderful.

This is the real deal, so of course, it will have a strong odor which seems to go away after watering. For those of you that give 1 star for some synthetic crap that will void it's 'organic' standing. Don't use it indoors is good advice. One of it's traits is that it seems to dissolve instantly so I don't have get on my knees to scratch it into the soil around plants. Al$o, a great deal.

This is a good quality Fish Bone but smell a little too strong. My plants loved it but squirrels dug up my garden pretty bad.

Used everywhere in my gardens. Everything is thriving.

Great for boosting fruiting and flowering development and adds calcium too!
