When the controller arrived I was very pleased with the look and size of the product. I hooked it up to the 12V battery using the included electrical plug end and then plugged the unit up and the electric motors came on immediately. I knew then there was a problem since I had placed the switch in the off position before hook-up. I then tried to adjust the speed using the dial and it did nothing to change the speed of the 12V motors. I was very disappointed in the fact this item didn't work at all. I will be returning this item soon for a full refund unless the company is willing guarantee to send me one that will work as described.
