Great for dry scalp

I truly love this product—it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’ve been going through a lot lately with my hair, from thinning to breakage, and I have a very sensitive scalp on top of it. This masque has been one of the few things that’s actually helped me feel like I’m making progress. It soothes my scalp, feels refreshing during application, and leaves my hair feeling stronger and more manageable. I can tell it’s really working from the inside out, not just sitting on top of my hair like some products do. If you’re dealing with hair stress or just want something that actually helps your scalp and strands at the same time—this is it. Highly recommend and definitely something I’ll keep in my routine.

I purchased this product as it was featured in a women's magazine. It has helped me with an issue that I have been having with my scalp. Before I bought it, I had a horribly time trying to wash off shampoo residual (including residual from purported "clarifying shampoos"). It could be due to my region which is dry and lacking in humidity. It could be an allergy to shampoo products. It could be a pre-menopause thing. Whatever the reason, my scalp would itch (even with popular dandruff shampoos) and I would be rubbing out piles of silky scented white flakes out of my hair! When I used the scrub, the residual flakes decreased in amount. I gave this product four stars because I seemed to have used a significant amount in one sitting. It is difficult to spread out the gritty product unlike shampoo, so to ensure I had it all over my scalp instead of my hair, I kept squeezing out more of it. I do not think I need it regularly, but if I need to purchase again within a month, it seems a bit pricy. Do not get me wrong, I will definitely be purchasing it again - just not as frequently as shampoos.

Not sure if I've reviewed this before but I love this product. Feels so great on the scalp and does a great job of getting rid of buildup on the hair and scalp. I use with the corresponding shampoo and conditioner and my hair stays so soft and is never dry.
