I just installed this the other day doing my first oil change on my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track since I've bought it. It was super easy to install and it's super easy to use. I tested opening the valve once and some residual oil from the pan came out just as it would in a normal drain hole. No leaks noticed since then. The clip also holds the lever in place very securely. Although the drain hole is slightly recessed on the pan, an adapter was not necessary to get it to sit flush against the pan and the valve clears the splash guard without any clearance issues. I highly recommend this if you have a Genesis Coupe with a Hyundai Lambda engine. Update: I've done a few oil changes with this and it makes it so easy. I had to collect some oil for a Blackstone oil analysis and I made no mess when taking the oil sample. Highly recommend.

These are great. I got one for my Ram and another for my wifes VW Tiguan. Speeds up oil change time and no fussing with plugs. The best thing about these is not a drop on the floor during oil changes!

I always do my own oil changes. And I was about to order a replacement crush washer for my oil plug when I saw this. This is waaaaaay better than having to yank out the plug while trying not to get oil running down my arm. I have this on a 2014 Jeep GC ecodiesel. I wish I knew about these years ago and I will definitely be using them in the future on my next vehicle. And for what its worth, I've seen knock-offs listed as well, and I think this is a really inexpensive product considering it's made in Japan and great quality.

I've been using these on various vehicles for 13 years with excellent results. Never a leak. Easy to use. One thing is they are longer than a standard drain bolt so make sure it will not protrude below the frame of your vehicle.

I bought this valve along with the extension for my 2010 Acura TL sh-AWD with 3.7L motor. Despite using the extension to compensate for the recessed drain port, there still wasn’t enough clearance to screw in the valve. I was still able to use it, however, because it for just fine on my 2013 Honda Civic Si with 2.4L motor. All in all it’s perfect product that is sure to save untold amounts of time and messes during oil changes, it just isn’t a one size fits all application
