Microworld 3D Metal Puzzle Behemoth Godzilla Monsters Model Kits Z013 DIY 3D Laser Cut Assemble Jigsaw Toys

I've build several of the Metal Earth kits but this was my first from Microworld. I bought Godzilla to build as a gift for my son, and I'm very satisfied with the way the model turned out, but it was a struggle at times to complete a step. In some of the most critical parts of the assembly the instructions lacked the guidance needed to know in what direction to fold, this was especially so in the construction of the hind legs. In trying to figure out the positioning of one piece I broke a joint from repeated bending (later I used scotch tape to hold it in place for final assembly). At that point I decided to move on to assembling that half of the body to see if I could figure out the direction of the leg folds, and that did help me to finish assembling the hind right leg. I used that knowledge to do the same for the left hind leg. As for final assembly of the two halfs and the head, I found that starting at the tip of the tail and working my way to the neck was the best way to align and join the two halfs. Note, hook on the head to one of the halfs before putting it all together, I found that with the head I ended up folding the tabs in on one side and out on the other side. Good luck. (Using loupes helps!)

I have done 100+ metal models but this one was not possible to build. The tabs kept breaking like the metal was much more brittle than any other model I put together. and if the tab didn't break off the slot did because they stick out from the pieces.The instructions are not clear in some steps on how the piece should be bent and the pieces do not overlap so no matter how close you get the sections together there will be a gap when joining them together.I ended up having to throw it away because too many tabs broke for it to be saved.
