This series was amazing. Laurie Smelling created a cast of characters that you can't help but love! I wish the series did not end. I would love to read more of Cassie and Ransom's love story!

I praise God and I also praise you for your amazing story telling. You became my favorite author after reading the stories that took place in Blessing, North Dakota. I love your Christian heart and the way you incorporate your love of God and your biblical teaching into your books. I have learned so much and appreciate the way you apply the bible to situations of every day life. I always enjoy your writing and know the amount of research that surely must go into it. Thank God for the talent you have to reach our hearts.

I've read all 3. They go together well and take you on a good journey of love and redemption. Enjoy.

Liked this series at the beginning of the 20th century, good family and friends with a few shady people that just causes trouble. Would like to see a fourth book on the couple that finally got together at the end of this storyline, but we will see.

Lauraine Snelling does a wonderful job weaving a detailed story. I didn't even mind that it was a 3-book tale, a format I usually avoid. Her attention to detail and historic accuracy made me want to buy all 3 books. I loved the heroine of this story, Cassie Lockwood. Her independence and skills as a marksman and trick rider took me back to a time at the turn of the last century when woman were just starting to discover their independence and their own self worth. The Engstrom family and Cassie's motley crew all live and work together to keep the family ranch afloat as the times change and cash money becomes more vital to a family's up keep. This wasn't the typical empty plotted romance that relies on sex scenes to fill the lack of a real plot. It was a well thought out story full of interesting characters and full bodied text.I will definitely look for more from this wonderful author.

6 hours of joy! i sure wish this was a movie ...i would be the first one in line. The second book ...gosh i was soooo sad ...this book ...rejoiced w the characters!!! i feel like i am part of their family now. IMO a must read by all!

I can always count on Lauraine Snelling to deliver a story that I can crawl inside of, away from the hustle and bustle of life. This series did not disappoint. With the world gone crazy over COVID and politics, I relish the evenings and weekends spent in the gentle, Godly stories woven by this master story teller. Thank you Lauraine Snelling. May you write 70 more books with as much beauty and grace as you have blessed us with so far, and may you continue to find joy in the task.

Loved book one and had to purchase book 2 & 3 to continue the story to the end. It inspired me to cook better meals and on time for my husband. Love stories about the pioneer way of life and of the close faith with God. Intriguing story which was full of excitement, tears, laughter, love friendship and family ties. All eliminates needed for a wonderful story. Would recommend this book and this author.

I liked everything about this last book and each of the three books in this series. The author builds such interesting characters in each book that I feel like I'm back there in the early 1900's with them - without having to do any of the hard work. 😊I highly recommend anything written by Snelling.

This has been so beautifully written. All very visual and the characterisation superb. Going.to.miss these people as part of my daily reading. Also so.interesting to learn about another different part of the world an how they lived. Thoroughly enjoyed all three books
