No. It is a very good knife, with a lifetime guarantee. I have one that is thirty years old and still as good as ever. The only difference between it and the new one is that it opens more easily, but it has no slop.

Does this one come with a brown sheath? I already have 3 110's. I just want a brown sheath which is $29 alone . It'd only be $17½ more for the FG.

A black smooth leather sheath comes with this knife. I'm sorry, but I don't understand why you would buy a knife solely based on the color of the sheath. Why don't you just buy a blinking brown sheath dude? Good Lord!

How do I open the knife?

First off- CAREFULLY-. I hold the base of knife in one hand, then pull the blade open with the other hand. Again -CAREFULLY -. After lots of use opening an closing I find that I can flip the blade open, Hope this helps.
