Is this same as amarin's vasecepa that is epa-ee and 1,000 mg?

Carlson's Elite EPA Gems is a fish oil supplement that contains 1,000 mg of EPA and a negligible amount of DHA. Carlson products are dietary supplements and are not meant to be used as replacements for prescription medications. I was recommended to take either this or the vesepa by my doctor. i ordered a vesepa and they are enormous. how large are these?

These pills are large but are easily swallowed, at least for me. They measure 1 inch long by 3/8 inch wide so I take them one at a time. I've been taking them for at least three years.
