At first, the wood was slightly too wide for our standard metal king frame; we couldn't fit the wood into place as one side hung over the edge of the metal frame vs fitting inside the frame. I placed the wood slightly sideways and then tried sliding it into place so it sat straight. Ended up using my foot as a hammer & just stepped on the wood near the edge of the frame to get it down onto the track of the metal frame, then the rest of the wood followed.One we knew the wood fit, it was fairly easy to situate. One plank was very bowed and did not sit straight, but curved upwards at each end. I was worried that would affect the performance of the bunky board, but to date it is not an issue. Since the wood planks were a tight fit at first, we are hoping there will be zero issues where the bunky board "comes off the metal frame" [which some reviewers said happened to them]. Overall the packaging and design made the installation pretty easy with 2 people.

It did not fit my queen size bed frame, I guessed it would have been a standard fit, but it’s not. To save on time and trouble you will need to measure.I was easily able to send back and refunded promptly. UPS picked up at my door.I hate to give the product a bad review because other than that it looked good. It looked sturdy and easy to use. Well made but simple, and it shipped in a relatively confined but tall box.

Haven't really been able to test these out. I bought these for my son's bed to replace his old slats. They are a touch too big for his bed (full sized). When I say a touch I mean it. Way less then an inch. They just need a bit of sanding. I'm not sure if it was an issue on this company's end or IKEA's end. Otherwise they appear good and sturdy and as advertised.

I have a pretty standard Ikea full size bed. These slats were too big so I ended up cutting about half an inch off of each slat and then they were perfect but thank god I had the resources to do so otherwise I would've returned them.

These bed slats were the perfect size for my full bed. They perform as they should.I've taken off 2 stars because one of the slats had a crack along the grain line immediately upon unpacking it. That board still functions, but has extra "spring" to it. I expect a shortened life-span from the product as a whole due to the junky wood used to make it. When that board inevitably breaks through, I will be looking for an alternative.

The boards were just barely wide enough that, with extreme care, they could be precariously placed so a couple of millimeters rested on each rail. I went to the lumber store bought some 1x1 square dowels for a few bucks and screwed them to each rail to extend it by an inch and the boards then worked.Not sure if my frame is wider than the average full bed frame or if the boards were just not wide enough. Worked well enough once I modded the frame, but if you aren't prepared to mod the frame you might want to consider something else.

These boards are strong and great, but did not fit the dimensions of our frame. They claimed to work with the Zeno frame, but were actually too wide. I used a hand saw to cut all the beams. It only took 30 minutes, but I was annoyed by it the entire time and sawdust got all over the floor. Still, because they come all attached, lining them up on the frame only took seconds once I cut the board. They were a good 4 inches too wide for our King size bed frame.

this is made for a bed frame box. I ordered it and put it on a regular bedframe and the bottom part of the mattress sags. So just make sure you have frame on all 4 sides for it to rest on
