Great pump for a Solar Panel for swimming pool!
This is the second one of these we have gotten.....wait, you say 5 star for the second one? Well let me explain, lol. Got one 3 summers ago, it ran every 30 min on a timer for about 600 ft of black hosing. This pumps about 120 degree water (avg temp) into our 27โ pool and it totally works!!!! Itโs super loud, but my fault-we have this in an upside down & attached to the underside of the deck, in a container to shield rain/weather. Works like a charm! Live in a very cold climate in winter and we donโt touch it! So this 20$ item runs like silk for 3 years in the conditions we leave it-I am personally impressed! I honestly think the other one works โokโ, but for the inexpensive cost, worth throwing away the old to ensure we get an 85 degree pool :) Also, great way to keep a pump out of a pool so there is no power cord hanging in a pool as I have seen other people do!

No suction, but seems to work when primed.
The first time I used it I put a tube in a jug of water on the inlet side and started it. It primed and pumped up to the pressure it switches off at. After letting some water out the pressurized side it turned back on and wouldn't pump anything. This all in under a minute. I then tried placing my finger over the suction side to see if it was pulling any water. There is no suction. I turned it off for a few minutes and tried again. It started running and in about 5 secs starting pumping again, got up to 15psi, and wouldn't go higher (still running, not tripping the pressure switch). I tried again another day, and again had mixed results. I found once it stops sucking I could shake it and sometimes get it to work for 20 seconds. I now have it installed at the bottom of a tank where there are no issues with priming and it has a small pressure feeding water to it. So far in that situation it is working well. It would appear that it works fine if you have a good air free source supplying it, but has basically no suction to prime itself. That is a bit surprising as I believe it is a positive displacement pump.

Works well
Only used once but it worked fine right out the box. Used for my backpack sprayer

pressure sensor is....iffy, pump is junk
I got this pump for use in an RV and the price seemed reasonable. I didn't need much flow and figured that 1.2 gpm would be sufficient. I didn't receive the hose clamps so had to purchase separately which makes the overall price a bit higher. It's not quiet but since I'm using it for a sink, it is only on for a short time and not continuously. However, I have realized that this is a piece of junk. The pressure sensing switch is either faulty or the pump just isn't designed well since it stutters. Turn on the tap and the pump operates. Turn the tap off and the pump stops, then starts for a fraction of a second, then stops, then starts again. so it's buzz...buzz...buzz...buzz. The connectors for the hose are so minimal that it's impossible to get a decent purchase with the hose clamps resulting in constant leaks. Worst. Purchase. Ever

Suction & Discharge Nozzles Marked
I receive the pump today but unfortunately there's No indication for the suction and discharge marked on the pump body and there's No catalog for the pump at least to know the suction and discharge nozzles.

Pretty good
This pump worked extremely well for my use-case, which was to evacuate water from a surface on which it pools extremely quickly. I set it up to run when water is detected using a $2 microcontroller, and actually had to tweak my software a bit because the pump moves water so fast. It also seems pretty sturdy, with mounting options and thick material used for the housing. My only tiny gripe is that it doesn't seem *quite* as perfect at self-priming in comparison to the smaller pumps I was using previously. That said, it has consistently primed itself after installation, so it may have just been due to testing it right out of the packaging. All in all, this pump saved my butt and I'd buy another if it ever broke!
