Pretty nice !
Very light. I used to spend thousands of dollars on Zipp wheelsets so I can't believe these wheels cost $134.00. The packing was not very good. The plastic protector things fell off and the threads on the axles were a little scuffed but they worked okay after I spun the bolts through them a few times. They seem to be true with no noticeable wobble. I don't mind the stickers but I might take them off after a while. Time will tell, I only rode them twice. They are half as light as the junky pure fix 40 mm wheels I had. They came with the fixie cog that was not attached. I didn't use that anyway. You have to provide your own free wheel cog. The bike shop put mine on for 5 bucks. I'm very pleased with the wheelset.

reasonable value
It was difficult to find a good variety of wheelsets with track hub to choose from. So this seemed like a good choice. I got mounted but haven't ridden much yet. The wheels themselves seem decent, however there are a couple of things to keep in mind. When I mounted the tires, I had a bit of a hard time to get them on since the wheel seemed almost a bit too big. I used 700x28c so I was on the upper limit of the sizes you can probably mount on this wheels but I'm not sure that's the reason. The other, and perhaps worst, problem is that there seems to be some problem with the hub axle thread. I actually returned the first wheelset I received because I could not get all the nuts to mount. On the second set I managed to get them all on but not without a fight. By the way, the cog and nut that come along are really low quality.

Nice set
Would of gave them 5 star, but the rear rim stem where the lugs go on is not center .. the bearings on rear sound a little rattle . Bike shop had to install the rear cog .. addition $25. To install cog .. packing the rims could of been better .. GOOD THING , the set were tru !!!!!

What I expected and a bit more
update... front wheel started to lock up. tryied to replace the bearings but come to find out the hub was so strange that my local mechanic could not identify it. long story short the front wheel is unsafe, at least mine is. rear still works fine.So I thought the wheels would be out of true, nope. Thought the spokes would need tightening, nope. Thought the stickers would come off easy, nope. Thought these cheap ass wheels would taco the first time i side loaded them, nope! All I can say is great wheels. Granted they are done to a price point but once you get that terrible stiff grease out of the bearings this wheel set is much better than my original retrospec wheelset.

Decent Wheel Set But Shop Around & Compare
Nice set of wheels within my budget. I didn't like the decals so I peeled them off quite easily. I installed the tubes, tires and mounted them with no problems. One thing that I did notice, inadvertently, was that I already had the exact same front wheel with a different brand name. It can be found as an Eight Inch Amelia, front and rear wheels sold separately,on that auction website. If you bought both,it would be $20 cheaper than brand new here on Amazon. I have even seen them for for $100 a set on yet another website. Shop and compare before you buy.

Love the look of these wheels and the weight
Love the look of these wheels and the weight. I am a little upset because in the product description as well as in the pictures it makes you think you are getting a fixed wheel cog and a free hub but I got neither just the wheels.

Time Will Tell
Wheels needed truing and were out of round. Not by much and not unexpected. I have yet to mail order wheels in perfect condition. They look good and better once the stickers are removed. They peel off easily and cleaned up with acetone. Axle cones too tight- again to be expected for this price range. My concern is the hub's threads. Take a mag glass to them and they almost look stripped. Dirty and rough. Hoping the ss freewheel stays put and the threads hold. Will update.

Good set of wheels for the price
This is a good set of wheels for the price. They were true right out of the box. The axle bearings were adjusted too tight, but with readjustment, they were just fine. I will probably get a set of Vuelta road wheels for my other bike.

Decent wheelset
Decent wheelset for the money. Great for a beginner, can take quite a bit of abuse. Pretty light, about 1200g for the rear and 1050g for the front. Slightly heavier than advertised. Loose ball bearing hubs, not cartridges. Stickers are a bit of a pain to remove. Box was pretty beat up when arrived. Packaging could use improvement.

No longer true after 100km of riding
I've only used them a few times, so I can't say much about durability. A little heavy but a good value for the cost. I'd give it 5 stars but they need to take shipping their products more seriously. They just put 2 wheels in a box and ship it. No foam nuts, no air bags, nothing. When I got them, an axel was sticking out on both sides of the box. I have no idea how they were still straight by the time I got them.Edit: I've now got maybe 100km on them of average commuting on decent roads, and both the front and rear wheels are no longer true. If you plan on riding at the velodrome, they're likely decent wheels. If you plan on using them on roads, you best learn how to true a wheel.

Not awful, but save your money a little more..!
Pros : inexpensive and good lookingCons : cheap build-quality and shipping quality (one of the two rims was already bent when I went to install them at the shop - either poor build quality, poor shipping quality, or a mix of both. Either way, I ended up having to buy a completely new rim... money wasted!)

Good budget wheels
The wheels came true and are performing well so far. The box was a little damaged when it arrived but the wheels were ok.

Good value for Money!
I've only had these for a few months and have not had extensive time with them, so I can't comment on longevity. That being said, they came true and workmanship is seemingly high. They installed easily and are currently running on 28mm Serfas Seca rubber and continental tubes. I ride on city roads and these wheels are smooth and fast.No signs of wear so far. Also, I contacted Vuelta for further information on specifications of the wheels and response was prompt and helpful.bottom line:This wheelset is good value for the money! (just remove those silly stickers)
