This is my second time purchasing this camera, our home is up to 10 cameras now that protect our perimeter. After years of playing with wifi based camera security systems I can't tell you how happy I've been with the Ubiquiti cameras. I've had my home system for about 3 years with Ubiquiti and i have 7 of their cameras mounted outdoors in the Arizona sun for multiple years and these devices just keep on going. I can't speak highly enough about the Ubiquiti systems. Easy to administer, easy options to customize your experience. I installed an NVR for the veterans resource center that I volunteer at and the remote monitoring makes it an amazing option for small businesses and for home use. If you've ever had a battle with your Homeowners Association this is how I've defeated them on multiple accounts. I've been accused of parking on the street over night, pulled footage and sent screenshots, that shut them up. If you're shopping for this product I don't need to sell you on security cameras, but if you're on the fence between this kind of system and a wireless based IOT camera system I promise you, your connectivity issues will all fade away into a distant bad memory when you install wired cams. Just no better solution.

Ich habe die Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra jetzt seit einigen Wochen im Einsatz und bin ehrlich gesagt ziemlich begeistert. Die Installation war – typisch Ubiquiti – überraschend unkompliziert. In Kombination mit UniFi Protect lief alles quasi „plug & play“. Kamera anschließen, adoptieren, fertig. Gerade wenn man schon im UniFi-Ökosystem unterwegs ist, fühlt sich das einfach sauber und durchdacht an. Die Bildqualität ist wirklich stark. Tagsüber liefert die Kamera ein gestochen scharfes, detailreiches Bild mit natürlichen Farben. Aber besonders positiv aufgefallen ist mir die Nachtsicht: selbst bei wenig Licht bleibt das Bild klar und brauchbar, ohne dieses typische „verwaschene“ Gefühl vieler Kameras. Das Turret-Design gefällt mir auch richtig gut – unauffällig, modern und gleichzeitig robust. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und wetterfest, sodass ich mir auch langfristig keine Sorgen mache. Gerade für den Außenbereich ist das ein großer Pluspunkt. Ein weiteres Highlight sind die smarten Funktionen: Bewegungserkennung funktioniert zuverlässig und ohne nervige Fehlalarme, und die Integration in die UniFi-Oberfläche ist wie gewohnt übersichtlich und intuitiv. Unterm Strich bekommt man hier eine sehr hochwertige Überwachungskamera mit top Bildqualität, einfacher Einrichtung und einem starken Gesamtpaket. Für mich aktuell eine der besten Lösungen im UniFi-Portfolio – klare Empfehlung.
