Works as good as the original
This Dyson vacuum head replacement works as good as the original. Good, sturdy build quality. We had our original head for close to six years. We are feeling good about using this one for as long.

This, or a new wand, fixed my shutoff problem
My Dyson Animal V8 Plus was intermittently shutting off every time I pulled it backward after vacuuming for a short time. I first purchased a V12 Slim Detect to replace it (big mistake, it kept shutting off on surfaces my Animal could handle), but I returned it and bought this head and a new aftermarket quick release wand for my V8+, and it's working as good as new, at less than half the cost of a new Dyson (which seems to be going downhill, IMO).

Great replacement part for my favorite tool!! Took almost ten years to break the OG head.

Product works great! My first head lasted over 10 years, so I'll never buy a knockoff.

A costly, but usually necessary, maintenance item.
It's difficult to accept that this part is 25% the cost of a new vac. The vac is great but eventually this part will probably fail again, even with modest use.

Exactly Like the Original
The original was purchased 11/2/2017 and has been used at least 3 or 4 times a week since then because I have two large dogs who shed 24/7/365. The top plastic part finally broke off, so I bought this replacement. Please see photos. New on left. Old on right. Exactly the same part. It's like I have a brand new vacuum!! It glides over the floor again! I'm so pleased that I'd give 10 stars if I could! Perfect fit. Well worth the price.

our v10 power head broke after 5 years of very continuous use. This head was compatible and works perfectly. Sooooo happy to have saved with the deals store option which looks perfectly brand new for only 65$
