Exerpeutic Foldable Exercise Bike, 8 levels of Resistance Stationary Bicycle with Airsoft Seat, LCD Display to Track Distance, Calories, Time and Speed

Bike came very well packed and protected with no damage. Ordered on Monday and received on Wednesday same week, am Prime Member, but was told would not receive till Friday. Only thing I found confusing about assembly was which stabilizer was front and which was rear. Finally put wheels stabilizer on front with wheels facing front. Still nor sure if that is right but I don't intend on moving it anyway so it really doesn't matter. After that machine went together very fast, maybe 30 minutes. Machine is very light but solid, no sway at all and quiet. In fact neither my wife or I can hear any sound at all from it. You could sleep right next to it with someone riding it. Bike is also vey smooth. All the computer functions worked fine. Despite what some other reviewers have said you can either set for just one function like speed or distance or set for scan which goes through all functions. The screen is very easy to read with large numbers. Problems: I have, had, no problems with the bike and can't keep my wife off of it. Also assembly was easy with the one exception noticed above. However packaging was missing the wrench, which is no problem if you have an adjustable wrench or a 13-15 wrench. I was also missing one bolt but was lucky in that it was one of the few bolts I can live without, one of four that holds the computer on. I did send an email requesting a replacement but thus far have received no reply, only two days ago. I could of called but being it wasn't that important decided to email instead. I will update later when, if , I receive. Summary: Bike is great and I would recommend. Assembly instructions need just a little work. Shipping & assembly need some quality checking. Customer service is still open pending response. I still gave it a 5 because the bike itself is so great, especially for the price. Update: After a month and still no bolt from email I called. They answered immediately, no waiting. They had no record of my email for bolt but stated they would send out immediately. I received two days later. They were very nice over the phone. The bike has been used every day since I received it. We both still love it and it is as quiet as ever.

I ordered this bike after considering the Pelaton and other expensive bikes. The reviews for this bike sold me. It arrived very well packaged. I looked up youtube video for assembly and then simply followed that by memory. Very easy setup. It took me about 30 minutes total, including unwrapping the package. I tried it today. Small enough for limited spaces but sturdy and solid. It's heavy to pick up but easily manageable with the two front wheels that will engage the floor as soon as you tip the bike. I rolled it from a closet storage to my living room and climbed aboard. I am 6 foot tall. I am 53 years old. I could reach the pedals at the next to tallest seat setting with a nice stretch during the pedaling. My wife is 5 ft tall. She lowered the seat to the lowest position and had no trouble at all with comfort during pedaling. For myself, I remained higher for the warmup of 10 minutes on the 1st tension setting and then lowered the seat to the next lower setting for a more thigh engaging round. I tried all of the tension settings and found all of them workable and easily switchable. The seat is comfortable and well padded. I also sat both back and close on the seat and both were great positions to alter the workout a bit. Don't forget to plug in the display module during setup. I forgot to do so myself and realized such when the display was not working. Once corrected, the display is easily read and will shift through the multiple readouts. Essentially, I only care about time and heart rate. By touching the button, when the reading is where you want, the display will remain on that point. To move away, just tap the button again. Very simple. The machine is quiet. I was impressed by this. I was also impressed at how the stability of the bike feels secure. After the workout, I simply pulled the pin, raised the seat-side of the back upwards, slid the pin into the last hole and the bike was ready to roll away or just get out of the way. In conclusion, I am thrilled at my decision to NOT spend over 1K to buy the fad-bike peleton. In fact, I'd rather watch TV or a movie, listen to music, or work on my phone than hear a coach try and push me to strive harder - since the coach costs me much $$ and uses my download data. Nope, I don't need all that. I need a bike I can move, jump on, work quickly, and be happy. The cost of this machine, ease of setup, usage, and quality makes it my BEST PURCHASE OF 2017.

08/13/2013 I received this exercise bike yesterday and decided to go ahead and write an initial review covering my first impressions of this bike. I'm a 6'2" tall male weighing roughly 190 pounds that purchased this bike for "cross-training", allowing me to obtain a good cardio workout on alternating days (doing road running and time in the gym on those alternate days). Packaging/Shipping: 5.0/5.0 Box came intact with no major damage. All parts (all the way down to the two machine screws for the remote control holder) were included. All parts were protected via styrofoam packaging that (surprisingly) didn't result in much mess when pulling all of the parts out of the box. The package was shipped from California, so it took a few more days to arrive than most Amazon packages I order (though, in all fairness, I selected "super saver" shipping). Assembly: 4.5/5.0 Assembly was quick, taking about half an hour. This included carefully reading each step before performing the assembly. The instructions were fairly clear, but I would have preferred a few more images tailored to each step being taken. That being said, there weren't any steps that left me completely lost. The bike comes with two tools: a small wrench and a hex key (with phillips head screwdriver on one end) so you don't need any other tools to assemble the bike. As one reviewer noted, the pedals are reverse-threaded, but this was clearly stated in the directions and the direction to turn the pedal was clearly listed. Comfort: 3.5/5.0 To put things into context, I'm 6'2" and weight roughly 190 pounds. Additionally, "comfort" is highly subjective, so take this with a grain of salt. All that being said, I'm happy with the overall comfort of the bike. The seat does have some padding, but feels overly firm compared to some seats I've used and is flat (i.e. - not as form-fitting as most actual bicycle seats). Thus, it can get a bit uncomfortable after riding for more than 10-20 minutes. I've noticed that modifying where I sit on the seat can impact how the seat seems to feel, so perhaps I'll find the "sweet spot" for my build after experimenting with seat positioning (and, if so, I'll update this review). The seat is also fairly large (i.e. - long and wide), and can thus accommodate users of various sizes/builds. Finally, the seat height is adjustable. I'm comfortable using the next-to-highest height setting, so I imagine users taller than myself could utilize this bike comfortably. In summary, my main reason for rating a 3.5/5.0 is primarily due to the seat. Additional padding and/or a more form-fitting shape would have resulted in a higher score (as well as the ability to ride comfortably for longer). Stability: 5.0/5.0 Even when pedaling in excess of 90 RPM, the bike remains firmly on the ground. Build Quality: 4.0/5.0 The bike structure is comprised almost entirely of metal components, so I have no concerns surrounding that. Resistance is fluid and continuous throughout the entire settings range. At low settings (i.e. - "1" and "2") the bike is whisper quiet. The (minor) problem comes in starting at setting 3... When pedaling at resistance setting "3", I began to notice a clicking noise. The noise increases the higher I set the resistance. It does not appear to impact functionality in any way; resistance is still continuous and fluid regardless of how loud the clicking is. Thus, it's primarily an annoyance and not a concern that failure is imminent or anything like that. If it weren't for that, I would have rated the bike perfect in the build quality arena. As far as the digital readout, everything works as anticipated. There is no way to reset readout that I am aware of, so your calorie burn and distance will continue to carry over unless you pull the batteries. HRM appears to be reliable, but I have no other HRM to confirm/deny the accuracy of the reading. I rely more on feedback from my body than HRM's, though. FINAL THOUGHTS Overall, I am happy that I purchased this bike. The clicking noise I mentioned above can get annoying, but not annoying enough to stop using the machine. For a price below $125 here on Amazon, I'm more than happy to live with that one minor quirk. The bike itself folds up into a very small footprint, allowing me to move it into a corner of my home office when not in use. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone that wants an exercise bike that gets the job done, stores easily, and doesn't break the bank.

Let's break down the grading here by sections. FYI, I have had the bike for about 3 months and have logged 850 miles. I am roughly 5' 11" and have weighed between 250lbs and 228lbs in those three months. 1.) Assembly - 4.5/5 It took me (a non-handy desk worker with very little craftsman experience) roughly 25 minutes to put the bike together. A great deal of the assembly is done before you take it out of the box (the frame and handlebars are individually assembled). The one knock here is that the instructions could definitely be easier to follow, but it was still easier than following the instructions that come with a typical DIY desk or bookcase. 2.) Operation - 4.75/5 For the price, of course. I have had the bike for roughly 3 months and have logged roughly 850 miles. I can't speak on it's longevity past 850, but it is still running like it was the day I put it together. Very little noise, smooth pedaling, stationary (doesn't wobble), and easy to bring out/put away. The only thing holding it back from a "5/5" is the seat. It isn't exactly "comfortable," but it isn't awful either. 3.) Electronics - 3/5 It is pretty clear that the electronics were an afterthought for this product. This doesn't bother me, and it shouldn't bother you. You should *not* be using the HRM/Calorie counter on this bike. In fact, you probably shouldn't use a HRM/Calorie Counter on any exercise equipment that didn't cost you an arm and a leg. I generally use my own HRM (Polar), which often puts my actual calories at about 65-70% of what is listed. The mileage and speed seem to be fairly accurate. Overall, it's what you would (or should) expect from a relatively inexpensive piece of exercise equipment. 4.) Price - 5/5 When I purchased this product, the price was actually around 120.00$. I think it costs a bit more now, but it is (probably) still a tremendous price for a reliable and consistent machine. I have yet to see any give in the machine, and I do not think it is unreasonable to expect that it might give me 2+ years of service. For a bike with easy assembly, good operation, and this price, it's easily worth a purchase. Edit - (August 1st, 2013) - It has been around 2 weeks (and an additional 200 miles) since I posted this review, and I just want to re-affirm how great this bike is. I've seen some recent reviews that say it has problems when you crank up the intensity, but I have not experienced this. On the two highest settings (both of which I have used extensively the last month or so), I have yet to experience any "clicking" or "belt fraying." It does go from whisper-quiet to mouse-in-church quiet, but, honestly, you would have to be searching for a problem to even notice. This bike has played a large role in my (still ongoing) weight loss. I have recommended it to 4 people, and the 3 that ended up purchasing it are even happier than I am. Edit - (October 21st, 2013) - Well, it has been about 2 and 1/2 months since my last edit, and I'm still thrilled with this bike. I have now put around 2400 miles on it, and it is still running as well as it did on day 1. It is worth noting that the bike does become a little bit noisier as you up the resistance and speed. At full resistance and high speeds, you get the occasional creak and groan, but nothing that bothers me, personally. As an aside, this bike has become my primary form of exercise after a leg injury has limited my ability to run consistently, and I give this bike non-marginal credit for my extensive weight loss (250 to 200lbs). It is, unequivocally, the best purchase I have ever made on amazon and one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I bought this item in May 2018 in prep for a bilateral hip reconstruction surgery. The post op protocol was to ride an upright stationary bike with NO resistance, starting the day after surgery. This bike has been great! When I place on no resistance it gives me a nice easy range of motion to loosing my back and hips up. The resistance get pretty high. But, I've never taken it past level 3. The bike is quite! It's easily adjustable for height. I'm 5'10" and it was just perfect so that my hips would not bend into a 90° angle, like a recumbent bike does. I love that this bike seat is not pressing on my SI joint or nerve. You can adjust the seat height or the distance from handle bars. I've callapsed it a couple times. But, I don't have to, since it doesn't take up a lot of room. I had it shipped to the AirBnB where I was staying for 4 weeks while recovering from a Hip Reconstruction surgery. When I arrived at the AirBnB, the box was big. My first thought was there was no way I would be able to assemble this bile on my own. Well, I was wrong! I opened it up and in less than 30 mins it was assembled. I did get the screws and nuts for the legs backwards. But, quickly realized it and it was simple to fix. The manual was really easy to understand and helped with the step to step process. The bike was easy to move from the backyard where I assembled it, to the bedroom I had, just by collapsing it and rolling it into the house and to my room. I didn't need to collapse the bike at all during the 4 weeks. It sat next to the dresser and could still safely navigate around the room on walker/crutches and get into the closet. I fell in love with this bike! When it was time to fly home I elected to have the bike shipped for $50 back home. It was simple to breakdown and pack right back into the box. My neighbor brought it into my house and he had it put together in less than 20 minutes. Went back together perfectly! I have been recommending this bile for the past 11 months to people getting ready to have hip surgery like me. 11 months later and it is still one of the best buys I've made, and has held up to daily use.

Took me forever (and reading about a million reviews) to decide which bike to buy--and then, when it came, I was so daunted by all the comments about the assembly, that I left it in the box, untouched, in the entryway for weeks. All of which turned out to be unneeded. Even with two knees that need imminently replacing (i.e I can't bend them, or bend down), I easily put this bike together myself. The box is very heavy, so I opened it in the entry, and took my time. The instructions are (mostly) very clear (such a nice surprise) and easy to follow. ALL THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO PUT THIS BIKE TOGETHER ARE INCLUDED! Parts, tools, and supplies are all clearly labeled. I only needed a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the straps holding the box closed, and break into the hard-plastic sealed package of tools, nuts, and bolts. Even taking my time, and multiple breaks, it took me less than an hour from start to finish. I didn't put the toe clips on the pedals or attach the ridiculous phone holder. I then wheeled the completed bike easily to where I wanted it. Including up a few steps, which was a little tricky. The bike takes up very little room and is SILENT during use--I'd read that in the reviews, but didn't believe it until I experienced it myself. I use it while watching tv, (or reading). It doesn't bother me, or the rest of the family. I'm preparing for double total knee replacement, and will also use this afterwards to recover. The tension is easy to adjust and appropriate for a range of fitness levels. The only concern/caveat I have, is that it's a little tricky for me to climb on and off the bike, because of the high X in the center. I find it easiest to mount from the back. I'm very, surprisingly, pleased with this purchase. The cost was SO much more reasonable than I expected to have to pay for an exercise bike. I HIGHLY recommend.

first-few parts so the bike is easy to assemble. i was quite impressed while putting it together, as i could see the high quality and design. we have had 3 exercise bikes in this household and this is so much better than the last, which was a weslo pursuit. what a difference! the very large seat makes a big difference, simply because i can ride it for a longer period of time. it is a given-a larger person who wants to exercise needs a larger seat. period. but oh, the quietness of this bike! i can watch tv for a time-killer without raising the volume. i live in an apartment and that's important, as my neighbor said she could hear the old bike clanking, so i quit using it altogether. i have the bike near the far wall without much light and with the old bike i actually had to have a flashlight near to read the display of my progress and actually had to stop to reach down if i wanted to change the tension control knob, this knob it up front and center as is the display. display is large, easily readable and more accurate (after checking). the pedals are set forward enough for me. i am 5'9". this bike will last a very long time as it seems to be very well built. i have used it for one month now and thought i would pass on my experience so far. i ride my exerpeutic in 4-20 minute segments. i find that i am more comfortable with this time. instead of increasing time, i have increased speed, from 9mph when i started, to 14mph at present, for a first month total of 424 miles. i sometimes take a day off or a portion of a day if i have errands. i started at 242lbs and this morning was at 228lbs, for a total loss of 14lbs in my first month. of course diet goes with it. i am quite happy with my progress and needless to say with this product. i have done my share of shopping on amazon, and i must say-this is one of the very best items i have purchased. by the way...i turned 70yrs old last november. good buy UPDATE: i have read reviews with some customers who find the seat uncomfortable. well, we're all built different, but when i began use of my bike, i was 57lbs overweight and found the seat to be quite comfortable. I am of average build, and it is great to finally find a bike for not only people who want to exercise and/or lose a few pounds, but for obese people like me. I also wanted to mention the over sized stabilizers which give confidence when mounting or dismounting. I have never had my bike sway, tilt, or rock. I wanted to mention that i have continued with my regimen of 4-20 minute segments per day and purposely made an appt with the doc 2 months from date of purchase, assembly and start of my exercise program. she told me i had lost 24lbs in 2 months. you can imagine how i feel. of course, as mentioned, diet goes with it. the only other investments i have made are a pair of bike gloves to keep perspiration from possibly causing the handlebar grips from deteriorating,-and i bought a 5lb weight. by the way, the day i went to the doctor i had clocked 933 miles on my bike in exactly 2 months. this purchase really changed my whole life. great payout for me,for the price.

This will be a two part review. Today I will share experience of the purchase, packaging, instructions, quality, overall impression, and short test ride. I am an engineer and wrestled with this item or the Marcy equivalent ($50 cheaper). I opted for this one as it is foldable with wheels to make it easier to move, the quality and features of the two seemed quite comparable. I will list my impressions: 1. Packaged in double wall corrugated cardboard with double banding at each end and another band around the middle. 2. This has weight to it so it needs to be laid down to remove parts, which were all well protected with plastic, styrofoam, and cardboard and securely taped in place. 3. No missing parts! All parts easily identified from the assembly book. 4. The assembly instruction book is EXCELLENT! In English only! Step by step instructions were accompanied by good pictures and cross reference to part numbers. Nuts, bolts, and all necessary tools are conveniently sealed on a labeled card. This is the first assembly manual that was not only complete and easy to read but had no extraneous information. Duly impressed. 5. Fit and finish on all the parts of the bike were excellent. No burrs, flashing, scratches, or other blemishes anywhere. Even the nuts and bolts had a nice finish applied to them. 6. The bike is heavy. It has a very solid feel. It will take a few times riding it to adjust the seat position (they give recommendations for mounting the seat to the seat post based on a person's height a good idea.) I had to adjust the pedal straps to best fit my sneakers once. I adjusted the seat height after five minutes of riding (twice) to find the height I was most comfortable with. The seat height locking knob really secures the seat and prevents any shaking. Now for my riding impression: 1. The seat is very wide and thickly padded. The angle is fine, but very different to riding a moving bicycle. Not a complaint, just an observation. Heavier riders or those wide in the berm will likely appreciate this. I have padded bike undershorts so it didn't matter to me. 2. Adjusting the tension is very easy to do without stopping and there is a significant range of resistance. I doubt anyone will outgrow this range. 3. The handlebar angle is fine and the padded grips are very satisfactory, allowing two different positions. The heart rate monitor only works in one position. 4. The monitor displays all useful information clearly. It cycles through the different readings instead of displaying only one value (i.e. speed, time, distance, cal., and pulse). I liked this feature. Most of the machines I have used only read one value and you have to change settings to see other data. Some may not care, but I liked this. As previously stated, the pulse monitor only works when you grip the handlebars on the sides. Not a big deal to me but just letting you know that you will have to change hand position to check it if you prefer the top hand position. 5. The machine is very stable when riding. The base, both width and length is such that there is no wobble when riding. 6. IT IS QUIET! It does not make any sound while riding. 7. The pedals are weighted so that slipping your feet into them is easy. 8. I rode only for twenty minutes on my first session. I have NO COMPLAINTS. Summary: This bike is worth the investment. Very good quality, fit and finish excellent, quiet, and comfortable. I have one negative; there is no bottle holder. What they call a bottle holder is meant only for your smartphone or an MP3 player. I am sure I can find a bottle holder that I can connect to it for extended workouts but I'll determine that as I use it. Overall, I would recommend this product to everyone and look forward to putting a lot of miles on it and reporting back later for a long term use review.

A la recherche d'un vélo d'appartement, j'ai bien sûr comparé des tas de modèle avant de me déterminer sur celui-ci. Beaucoup de ces articles me paraissaient chers. A réception de ce produit dans les délais attendus, j'ai été impressionné par la qualité du conditionnement et surtout par la clarté de la notice de montage en tout point remarquable. Beaucoup de produits pourraient s'en inspirer. Du coup, le vélo est monté en 1/2 h et très facilement car même les outils (clés, tournevis) sont fournis. Le matériel est très robuste, bien ancré au sol et les systèmes de fixation fiables. J'ai été étonné par ce point car des vélos plus chers m'ont semblé plus légers. A l'usage, aucun souci, les paramètres s'affichent sur l'écran et le mécanisme d'augmentation de la résistance par molette est efficace. Pour citer un bémol, je trouve la position du corps sur le vélo peut être un peu trop en arrière. A voir à l'usage. En tout cas, je recommande vivement cet achat.

Si bien se requiere ensamblar, el proceso no es complicado y siguiendo las instrucciones es suficiente para lograr ensamblar el articulo. Lo que me parece destacable es que es cómoda, es silenciosa y ofrece bastantes niveles de resistencia. También es muy práctico que se pueda plegar para que ocupe menos espacio

Just for background, my husband and I are both well over 200lbs and we feel sturdy on this. Tried to shake it while sitting on it and it is completely stable. I will say installation of the bike was easy as well, I read about people getting confused but if you read and follow the manual properly it really is not difficult. I assembled it with no problems which is saying something because I once screwed up building a lack table from Ikea. Usage wise I would say this bike is extremely worth the value. The tension on the bike is very accurate. When using the bike it is very quiet, no sound coming from it at all. Moving the equipment around is easy as well, the wheels are a bit stiff, but that's just because they were new/never used. Three super tiny miniscule small things though: 1. The phone/remote/etc. holder on the bike is quite low right where my thighs are, so when I use the bike it does scrape against it. If you don't like this then no problem at all, just don't install this part. Doesn't make a difference on how good the bike is. 2. I am a little under 5'5" and I do feel myself having to extend my legs more when I ride the bike. Maybe I'm just not used to it 🤷‍♀️ 3. The odometer feature on the display does not reset. No matter how many times you push on the button and hold it, it will not reset and it states that in the manual. In order to do a hard reset on the ODO, you have to remove the batteries and put the back in. All in all, solid 10/10 bike. Been looking for one that could hold over our weight just for peace of mind. Found this one and it does not disappoint. We got this during a discount so it was $198. Adding the price here to give future customers hope that the price does indeed go down!
