The motion sensor is too sensitive
The first light delivered stayed on all the time. The motion sensor didn't work. The seller sent me another one. It works, but the motion sensor has some functional problems because it is so sensitive that rain and snow turn the light on. The seller offered to send me a remote that they said could be used to lower the lux sensitivity. All I had to do was pay the $50 shipping fee. I passed on that offer and am not sure why the remote wasn't included with the light in the first place. I have ordered a separate extension cord with a built in switch so I can turn the light off during bad weather. I don't recommend this light if you plan to use it with the motion sensor. Update: The seller contacted me and offered two options to fix this issue. They also said they are considering adding a remote option for this version of the light in the future. I appreciate their efforts to make this right and have updated my review from two to five stars.

Surprised at how bright it was
Given that it's rated at 120W and is wired in, I probably shouldn't have been too surprised at how bright it is and the amount of coverage it is able to produce but I guess I've been burnt by other products I've purchased and also received for free. The only downside I can give it at the moment since it's so new to me is that the build quality isn't the best. Now, it's just a matter of weather resistance...

Bright Light
We needed a light like this to illuminate our driveway. It's about the size of a small toaster. It is not the easiest to install, but is a durable addition to our outdoor lighting.

Big light and needs a lot of work
This is more complicated than expected but it is definitely a durable fixture. It weighs a ton. I thought it would be easy to put up but it doesn’t come with any hanging hardware or anything. You have to drill through the fixture to hang it and the instructions are not great. I will use it - hubby is willing to put it up which surprised me. I wouldn’t get it again though. I prefer plug and play because I need simple.

Big and bright
This is a large bright motion activated security light. It has to be hard wired so location choices are limited.

Great quality and performance
I just got this light today and I installed it right away as one of my security lights had gone bad in an area that had uneven ground to walk on. I needed that area to be safe for one of our residents who uses a walker and has to pass through that spot to go walk his dog at night. The light is made a really good gauge steel and the powder coating is well done. The glass lens is very clear and thick. The light was easy to install. I only had to remove a few screws, feed the wires through the back plate and screw that plate onto the junction box. I connected the wires and hooked up the motion sensor. When it got dark tonight I went out to test the light out and when I triggered the motion sensor I felt like I was walking on sunshine. It was so much brighter than the old light and it lit up every bit of that uneven ground. I asked my resident to come outside to make sure he was happy with the light and he was thrilled. I like that I was able to adjust the range of the sensor rather than just giving it a set amount of time to remain on after it was triggered. My resident doesn't walk very fast and his dog often goes off the side of the drive in that area. So I needed a light that stayed on as long as it sensed motion in that area. This light does that and it's perfect for keeping my resident safe. Everything about this light is high quality and I'm sure it will last a very long time. If that changes I'll be back to update my review. At this point I'm very happy with the light and its performance. I'm giving it a yes.

Well Built Bright Light
This is a review for a HYPERLITE LED Wall Pack Light: 120W Wall Pack LED Exterior Light with Motion Sensor - 15600lm Glass Lens LED Wall Packs Outside Lighting - LED Security Flood for Yard UL Listed This is a well built, substantial light. It comes in a metal die cast housing with a glass front lens. The glass is so much better than plastic and should last a long time. Since the case is aluminum, it is easy to drill the required mounting holes in the case. I will be mounting mine to a metal building so I may mount it to a painted wooden 2 x 6 backing piece routed out to to sit flush on the corrugated metal side of the building.. The beauty of the metal casing is that you can easily customize your mounting method. This light is very bright and it runs nice and cool. I will probably remove the factory motion detector or replace it with one which has more adjustments and functions. I want to be able to turn the light on with a switch and also when it is turned off I want it to be activated by motion at night. All in all, a great light that should last many years

I had this installed at the side of my house. The electrician commented that this was a good quality fixture, and expressed surprise that I put it up at my home instead of a commercial area. The light is very sensitive. I live on a cul de sac and it turns on as soon as someone turns into the circle (two houses down from me). It also turns on if someone is in the kitchen at night - the kitchen window is about passes the 8 feet to the right of the light. My neighbour has commented on it, but not in a negative way. She likes how it lights up the area when someone comes around. I'm don't know what my other neighbours think!

UL, cUL Electrically Certified! (which is rare for electrical items on Amazon.). Very good construction, with multiple mounting options, as well as multiple electrical openings available for routing your electrical wires from any side, bottom, or back. Super bright, at 14,700 lumens at 2 inches, (which is actually the first light I have tested that even comes close to its claimed output.) 1,200 -1,300 lumens at 20 feet, which lights up the surrounding area nicely. The motion detection module uses radar, rather than infra-red. This makes it much more sensitive to motion, and actually detects movement behind objects, unlike infrared that requires line of sight to activate it. The module has adjustments to the 'always ON', (at night), dimness; from OFF to 30% brightness. The module also has a setting dial for the length of time the brightness is at 100% after seeing motion. The detection was flawless; I couldn't sneak up on this, even coming from behind a corner to the side set it off. Super bright illumination, covering a very large parking area, or yard. I set the dimness to 10%, which is still bright enough to see everything around the area. Two things of note: It did not come with any kind of waterproof junction box connectors, you will have to use conduit or find a suitable waterproof connector that fits. The second thing is that the reflective plate on the inside is VERY fragile; it scratches easily, and trying to clean off a fingerprint resulted in a patch of scratches. You need to remove that reflective shield to connect the wires. Wearing cotton or vinyl gloves when you are handling the shield should help in reducing damage.

i would give this product 5 stars, but the Sensitivity of the Sensor for the light is TOO GOOD in my opinion as it picks up even the very slightest movement. A cat in back yard walking by picked it up, a small bird few far off in garden, that triggered the sensor and it seemed to come on "just before" i got around the corner of my house, like it would detect that as well. This is Great for " some " places you would want to install. but for me in a tighter area with neighbours very close on all sides i found it would be too much. I will use it up in Cabin area instead where a more constant triggering of the sensor would not be bothersome to persons. The light is super bright and casts a beautiful and full bright light that floods the area of which you direct it very nicely. It was not too hard to assemble it and install. to assemble you just open with 2 screws on front, then the glass front plate can be opened to one side as it is on hinges, but. you can also remove it to finish the inside as the hinges are not held in place. Inside there is a very THIN metal plate that is held by two more screws, you remove that then screw the sensor into it and attach it to the sensor wiring plug. that is about it. There are no pre-drilled holes in back of this light but all the spaces where you would / could need to put them to fit your specific electrical box are spaced out for you to see and use on the back of the fixture. These are easily drilled out with little effort with a good drill. Overall i fantastic light with a super sensitive sensor. i would recommend this product, but i would not for a residential home unless you will use it where your neighbours would not be bothered by its brightness and its sensitivity. It’s very well made, even has its own little mini level inside of it to help you install correctly!

It was initially impressive, built like a tank, or so I thought. During pre assembly in the ground to get the sensor installed and inspect everything, the nice swing door with the glass lens jumped off the pins and fell onto the ground smashing the glass. I don’t understand how everything else could be so well built and then they didn’t design the door holding the most fragile part with screw caps on the hinges… Anyway’s, I went through and assembled the rest, just to get a gauge on output, and it’s pretty decent. Definitely enough to light up a driveway. I might be able to repurpose it for indoor use as a motion sensor lamp in my garage, we’ll see. Warrantee is weird, under a certain time frame it’s free replacement, but extending out they want you to pay up to 30% MSRP to get a replacement… That just sounds like no warranted to me.

I own several Hyperlite floodlights so have a fair bit of experience with the brand. One that is very similar to this one has been in service for over a year with great success. It lacks the motion protection feature that this one has, so I was excited to get this one into service. Installation replacing an existing wall mounted floodlight was simple and straightforward as the wall box was previously installed. If you need to install a wall box I would recommend hiring an electrician. You'll want to wire this on a circuit with an on off switch, or time. There is no dust to dawn sensor so it will activate on motion even in daylight. The light itself is very bright. Exceptionally bright. The motion sensor is hyper sensitive. I was surprised at what little movement it took to set it off. Unfortunately the sensitivity cannot be modified so you were stuck with a light that can likely be set off by a mouse. The build quality is very high, as always. The glass lens is of high quality and the seal on the lens is very good. You need to drill the you the backplate to mount it which is a design choice to limit the number of holes in the fixture to keep it as sealed as possible.
